Those that are saying L2S is not being counted you are wrong. Our local is at the table and the company have said several time at this time we will not suspend L2S that is from LABOR, and the VP's. We talk daily about the company not supplying proper PPE.
Local Managers are also saying you get red 1 mo you are going on a plan.

they are doing this all over the country—"The Plan" is how they are GOING to get rid of you period—you can only massage the old girl so much? They don't ,and wont spend a penny to repair,or upgrade or back-fill slots—Yet YOU are supposed to make the metrics, based on FULL manpower, and a plant that's been gone for 30 years?—And if you don't? —Red—then the plan—then the door—and your SRO gets another disposable contractor Its really that simple .... No Trucks ,No cells/laptops, no meters, No Benefits,No uniforms its all about eliminating truck rolls........ bottom line money money money always follow the money
All No Access and Non-Complete tickets (and the time associated with these tickets) that include any of the following keywords in the technician comments field: Covid, Virus, Corona, Safety were removed from March L2S results and will not negatively impact the technicians’ TOP score
April results will continue to be assessed to determine if any adjustments are needed.
This is just like the you don't have to go in the house email. Yeah right. Refuse to go in on a full install and see how long it takes some VP to call the boss and make you go back and go inside and do the install. Without the mask they promised we would have by last Friday.

Hate to call B.S. but he11 yes they are watching everything you do or don't do, techs here have been getting calls about any job/tech install that is not being completed and are being asked why didn't you do this? If anyone thinks this is not going to come back to bite you when this is over your fooling yourself. This is just giving the L3 a$$wipes more ammunition to get rid of you when it's all said and done. CYA
"Believe what you want, L2S is not being monitored until this is over. If you are getting harrassed for your numbers, then your Union officers and stewards are not doing their jobs. "
Been waiting 20 years for them to do their jobs, we do get jobbed every contract however, maybe they are off shore and there is a translation problem.

They are not watching L2S until this is over. That is from the VP level.

Hallelujah,
There has been an awakening. Oh Im certain there are still hard-core guys who will ride this thing right into the cliff. But it does appear that many of even the old timers get this. Based on the language L2S i may even have an idea whom are talking in this thread. Told you they were going to fire people over this—The metrics are impossible especially with our plant and the lack of upgrades or maint. We are destined to be picked off one by one lets be honest there arent that many of us left—two words at this point "SELF PRESERVATION" its the management mantra —making the metrics in this plant is IMPOSSIBLE we all know it they dismantled us slowly but surely and in doing so laid waste to the plant and the customers—L2S Its real —i notice no mention of a vspp ? and your ten days past contract—glad i left when i did good luck to all but i hear a fat lady singin im gonna go grab some popcorn and watch
Keep copies of every email, every message put out by upper management, build a case so a lawyer can nail teh company to the wall.Hit them where it hurts, their bank account. They only care about money, so take steps to make sure they lose some of it.
Re: "I am sure he would not testify in court if they actually were stupid enough to fire one of us but I guarantee he would give the information needed to win the lawsuit because he hates them as bad as we do. "
When summoned for deposition, he will appear and testify truthfully. When ordered to provide documentation, he will provide it, and when subpoenaed for trial, he will appear and testify truthfully once again.
Are your Directors, VPs, and CEO invested in the contracting companies that they want to replace you? That wouldn't be hard to prove in court either, and would show incentive to terminate you. Follow the money.
What ever happened to good jobs in 8hrs. That’s when 1st liners could track who carried the load and who did not. But millions were spent on link to success and no way were we not going to drop it, but just look at what happened to retail stores and all the billing lawsuits in every state because of stupid results. A district manager told me that techs could never be fired due to performance results because it had already been challenged in other areas and would not hold up because every area in the system has different plant and technology which leaves no way to gauge results accurately. But as union contracts close and negotiations fail with 5g and starlink closing in fast the company will be able to do whatever it has to without reason. Don’t think so, just watch!
Everybody knows that link to success is a joke. The SRO used to be able to manipulate the metrics to help us out. They have gone to a new computerized deal now where even the SRO can't touch it. We have guys on the plan that dont deserve it. We have guys who do deserve it that somehow skate by. The SRO is frustrated. He will flat-out tell us in meetings that it is a broken system. We know for a fact he told his MRO that he does not want to manage us the way they make him. He is a decent guy. I am sure he would not testify in court if they actually were stupid enough to fire one of us but I guarantee he would give the information needed to win the lawsuit because he hates them as bad as we do. There has to be someone up the management chain that knows it's a joke. Everybody at this company can't be ignorant.
Maybe that is why CTL ends up in so many lawsuits. The bobbleheads in the middle are always trying to make themselves look good on paper and they end up getting the company sued by customers and employees because of it.
We all know that many techs and APS manipulate the metrics to their advantage, while others do not. Proving this would be very easy in the discovery phase of a law suit, and I do mean very very easy. The problem CenturyLink faces is that their upper management probably doesn't know this due to their bobble-head management culture. The CenturyLink Board of Directors probably thinks that their performance evaluation system is sound because that is what all the bobble-heads below them have told them. However, that doesn't absolve them from professional negligence. They are the ones who created the bobble-head corporate culture in the first place, and that shouldn't be too difficult to prove in court either. The problem they will face in court is that the techs know how the company actually operates. They know where all the bodies are buried, and it's all provable in court. If they want to open up a big can of worms, let them open it.

That is exactly why I took my package almost 2 years ago, I worked in old copper rural areas and techs that worked in newer plant looked like saints. And when techs turned back bonded orders without even trying to single pair orders to make clearing time nobody ever looked at that, except for praising them in meetings. Yep ya’ll know who you are!
Just remember that lawyers love deep pockets, and both CenturyLink and the management chain have deep pockets. As soon as they attempt to terminate someone over Link To Success metrics, the whole system becomes open to scrutiny in court proceedings. They can't terminate someone and then claim it's proprietary information why they fired them. How difficult do you think it would be to claim injury after being terminated for performance metrics on this highly flawed system? Sue CenturyLInk and every one of them all the way up the management chain for professional injury, and negligence.
The link to success program uses highly flawed and manipulated MAX metrics. The first person they ever attempt to fire over it will become wealthy in court.
He’s Referring link to success...bs metrics centurystink uses to guage a techs production.
Employee's what?
Sorry but what’s is l2s
