Ready to talk to some nice credit Union type folks yet? Had enough BS and mistreatment? Thinking it will improve and we will all get back to normal times of 2 years ago? Think again. These thugs in Chicago don’t give a flying pig what the employees think of them. This is a call to action. Allstate employees need to unite! That will give true meaning to our new slogan “let’s make lots of money”…How you may ask? You guessed it. Lawsuits unions and court OH MY! All the unethical abuse these thugs did on the American employees starting in June of 2020 after Tommy and Glenn were so nicey nice in March when the pandemic started. Sighting kindnesses from May Angelou and repeating “We’re in this together “. Such BS. There actions and dirty decisions proves just how ruthless they are. They only understand 2 things. The balances in their accounts and the cost of court. Time to organize my friends. Let’s make lots of money.

I have been with this company a long time. I remember hearing about some group unionizing and being told everyone was fired.

Let Allstate know you're starting a union. Make sure you have a long list of people who support your cause, in writing, that you also provide Allstate.

A union wouldn't change a thing in this company and would actually make things worse. Glenn would be shutting that down before it ever got off the ground. Mass firing of everyone remotely involved would take place. They have fired others who even sniffed getting a union off the ground here. Plus unions would not at all do the same thing in this type of industry as others. Most unions would not want to take this on anyways as there is very little effect and value for them. Plus a union would never get voted in by the employees anyways as they are already lowballed on pay anyways and paying an equally corrupt and money hungry entity dues for pretty much nothing in return is not enticing. A union does not stop layoffs, it does not stop the outsourcing to India, and does not protect your jobs. It also would not assist much in increasing wages since there are so many industry alternatives. Aligning with these fools that want a union will just end up getting you fired "for cause" with no chance for unemployment with the label "union antagonist" branded on your work record. No thanks.
@2zyg+1bchgmn0 no, most people move on to different jobs if they feel like they're getting fu---d... That's how the free market works. Besides, unions serve very little purpose in private industry. Public positions with no competing employers, such as firefighter or police unions are understandable... Claims grunts where there are competing roles you can go to? Not so much.
Starting over, negotiating how things will be run would be better than what we have. It’s complete chaos with how they’ve gone about this change. At least the worker would have a voice in the change in a Union. Most don’t want a Union they trust these evil money mongers more I suppose. D-mb

Talk about old ideas instead of new solutions. U guys do realize that that with a union, everything starts from scratch in negotiations to include pay, benefits, pto, etc. careful what u wish for. Those occupations mentioned are not the most highly compensated. Even some of you claims grunts get paid on a par or better with many of those folks today.
Even it were to happen, which it won’t, it would take years to get it underway. By that time you all will be gone and India will be handling your pending

They have us scared for our jobs . They keep making us feel guilty and making us the scapegoats for inspections sitting at shops for over a month and for not meeting our fault and weekly unattainable production credits . With twice the workload since the layoffs everyone around me has quit in auto claims and replaced by inexperienced employees who now don’t want to sit at home in front of a laptop for 60 hours a week. The only option it seems is to quit because these thugs are going to continue to work us into the ground . Morale is awful.
Too bad OP most people don’t realize the benefits, are scared, and some actually don’t like to take the lead on change. Working under these demands is unethical that’s why people get unions in the first place. TW GS and the rest of those sc-m bags will never do the right thing unless a Union comes in to make them. Despicable snakes are running Allstate.
Unions help a lot of workers. Police, firefighters, truckers, grocery workers, State/city/ county workers and more LOVE their unions. Transformation to a Union is a way to fight back. About all an employee can do. Or quit.
Union isn't going to happen and wouldn't fix the problem
