So many "managers" are sitting in Houston. Traveling all over the world. Making expenses. They are making 100k +. Get rid of the fat.

Cameron Corporate... All of them without exception are fat cats... Bring nothing positive to the bottom line... Always traveling and building PowerPoint presentations... I hope HR reads this... Start cleaning the house there...
I agree. Start with Rankin location. Get rid of all those lazy managers & employees who do nothing but stay on the internet shopping & watching movies on their iPhones all day.

Do most of the people who post here actually work at Schlumberger? Why would you stay if it is full of such horrible management? I don't get it, leave, there's a thousand other places to work.
SLB famous for creating new departments where they place inept managers. Many of them money pits only producing slide shows with fictious numbers that they claim pay for their existence.
Not sure how the company will operate after all the boots on the ground get cut and have managers with nothing to “manage”? Amazing....I got super f*#cked by my manager. He’s still there with all his sycophants and buds.....
A lot of this is directly related to The SETC program. People get a pay grade increase or two so they have to be put in a management position to justify their salary. And if there’s not an opening they’re a good fit for they’ll get put in a position they’re not a good fit for.
Schlumberger just cannot see that it is far too top heavy with layer upon layer of management who, in many cases, are spectacularly unqualified for the job or do not add any discernible profit. Schlumberger will never learn.
Get rid of them and all the other entitled freaking managers!!! The one that have a job because of who they are related to.
