When Mike will be history in a few weeks, who will be his replacement?
Or will we see two, as the company will be split up in the Atos style?

@3ohw+1pbtv8ce I'm aware but that wouldn't preclude him from becoming CEO.
@3nmv+1pbtv8ce Thank you for your very informed reply. It completely checks out. It would be problematic to have a Russian national running the buisness especially since DXC is being investigated for violating Russian sanctions. (Connected to the sale of Luxoft Russia) I'd be curious to know if you have an ideal candidate in mind. I find it hard to belive that there's nothing a good managment can do to drive a better culture here. I've followed a lot of turnarounds that where in much more dire situations and the common theme with saving them is a strong C-suite. EDS after the GM spinoff is somewhat an example of that. I don't mean to be annoying but what are your thoughts on Ray August? The insurance buissness does seem to be turning a corner. Thanks for any help. -Dxc investor
Our CHRO and Marketing leader is a great leader and a visionary. DXC would be blessed to have a great ethical servant leader like that. Way to go DXC.
Mary Finch is replacing Mike Salvino.
She's run 2 parts of the company HR abd Marketing. With DXC now a well known household name she is going to be promoted to take over.
Mike's going to do these results then step down to focus on family time. Watch it play out over the next month.

Dimitri has left the company.
Dmitry Loschinin may well be a very clever guy, but Luxoft is an entirely islanded business in DXC. If it runs well its because DXC leaves it alone.
I don't think you could take whatever Dmitry has with a team of software developers and make that the culture of the rest of DXC. They are a tight nit bunch on a relatively small scale.
DXC's problem is the same problem as many large orgs, one size doesn't fit all. The only way of breaking that down is to let smaller chunks do their own thing.... which makes wall street focused execs have kittens.
In the CSC days they used to say CSC stood for a "collection of small companies".... this was both its strength and its weakness.
Lastly, Luxoft is held at arms length because of Dmitry.... the defence sector clients are nervous about Russian anything (thats an actual fact btw, the Luxoft buy had them screaming). The idea of him being at the helm, not gonna happen.
It depends on how bad thus quarters results are. If theyre terrable the there's going to probably be a CEO search initiated by the board. If they're smart it will be Dmitry Loschinin the former Luxoft CEO. Guy did a fantastic job building Luxoft and as I understand the culture there is still good. Some of the people on the board can think for themselves I'd be willing to bet that football star turned congressman who also voted to impeach Trump against his party is actually an independent thinker. If I where in your shoes I'd reach out to him and other board members to explain what direction you think the company should go in. I'm an investor so I'm watching from the outside but I do think it's likely mike is forced out. Look at the posting he and the other execs are doing on linkdeln very suspicious. It screams damage control to me.
Mike Lawrie was also CEO and chairman, yet he had to go.
Mike will not be history as he’s chairman of the board. what are you smoking ?
@David Samson
It won't be anyone internal.... we never promote anyone like that.
It will be someone who brings "new ideas" (ie the stuff they used at the last place, along with all of their mates from wherever that was)
It will be the man who is "goal" oriented and beats the "drum" till the "clouds" come home.
