Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

It's Nearly August any news on Pay Raises

This is a joke, the last financial year ended 4 months ago and we still haven't heard anything. They have no problems doing new year appraisal events.

What's Finchy doing, does she not have a calculator or Excel?

Anybody heard anything?

I been here 15 yrs and last year I got my first increase of 1.5% in Jan this year.
I got a working from home internet allowance with the legacy mob and DXC dumped it . The increase just covers my bill
I always loved the flexibility I was afforded but my disposable income went seriously backwards this year with inflation and with this share prices smash, we are getting f@@k all guaranteed

Agels long gone, It's now the end of Finchy. She's definite dissapering in this reorg.

What HR work has she done?, and Marketing?

Fell of my chair, nobody in DXC has heard from her, how can silence be the Marketing head honcho?

She did well out of milking DXC/Mikey.

Mickey will have to get a new filly if he stays.

@3hri+1nQgTxuA - Sir, you are bang on. You must be DXC Buddha.

Nitpick paperwork is our hallmark and we will invite more and more people in meetings just to keep the projects from ending (and d-mbheads keep joining meetings even though they have nothing to contribute)

btw - it is August, so we should ask Mr. August if there is any rises

Not expecting anything. Whatever it is would be an insult. So the company might as well not bother, and they know that. We now only employ two types of people. Those who checked out long ago, and those who can't do anything except nitpick paperwork and want to sabotage the entire operation. And you wonder why there is no money for a pay rise.

DXC will be scrupulously fair in distributing pay across all levels.
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 1s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 2s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 3s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 4s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 5s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 6s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 7s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 8s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 9s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 10s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 11s
A pot of $20m will be allocated to be shared across all Level 12s

Then that's the case for everyone in DXC , it means once you join you never will get a pay raise, unless your a member of the ex Accenture rejects gang recruitment by Mike.

Before Mike got banned from doing a town Hall, Mike flipped out and said for people to leave if they want more pay.

Maybe he was on dr-gs or something but that's not excusable, it's more like a disciplinary level.

Definitely not a way to run a business, treating employees as just a overhead, headache, your most hated, least valuable resource.

It's obvious the business won't grow like this.

You only get a payrise if your loss is feared.....and it ain't.

So, you didn't get a raise last year. You didn't get a raise the year before that. You didn't get a raise the year before that even...etc., etc. ad nauseam... You didn't get a raise for the past 7 - 10 years and you are EXPECTING one now?! Holy CHIT Batman!! “ The definition of INSANITY is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results” – Albert Einstein

No raise is better than a paycut.

No pay rise IS a pay cut with inflation at 7+% minimum per year

My decision to stay or not will be based on if DXC honour a recruitment bonus for a referral this year. That hopefully will be my payrise. If they don’t honour it. I’ll look to leave seriously.

This is the same every year.

Somehow New board members with shares can be afforded, the execs can take thier inflated salaries.

They need to stop recruiting, this will lose 20% employees about 25000 staff, with that they can easily pay big raises to existing employees. The existing employees will be much more motivated and the company will be much more leaner and efficient.

Not rocket science.

You haven’t heard anything because there are no raises this year, and they just don’t want to come out and say that openly.

Last I heard they were looking in to the affordability and until that was done there would be no communication.
Why they can't do that in Q1, why they can't communicate etc etc no idea.

No use asking here, raise your own Employee Connect ticket and get your own answer.
Plus that way it might appear on someones dashboard, we're getting a huge spike in HR cases and they are all on the same topic. Similarly every townhall ask the question, don't be shy. If you all sit there passively, the leadership can continue to pretend it isn't an issue. Make a fuss inside DXC

Please be patient, we are working on exec pay and after that we will be working on you minions pay.

By all means moan as its all we have left.

You aren't getting a raise though.

You have to have realised that by now?

Extra money is only for the execs, not the plebs

They hired a new board member and my guess he will get millions of stock options for zero dollars

Yes the knives are in definitely hurting the employees, this can't go on, no cost of living for years on, whilst the top are taking overpayments.

Is not amusing it's effecting many folks and families. If they can't pay hard cash they need to pay in shares.

I think everyone probably knows the answer to this. However, I find it amusing that people keep sticking the kn--e in a twisting it. DXC management certainly deserves the never-ending comments about it.
