Advanced Material Spinoff News

Looking to get any insight on ~20 plants that HON plans to spinoff. Anyone heard any news on this? Open to hearing about how the new company can learn from Garett/Resideo/Advansix

@3ge+1jhbcmthk People bash Cote but he was in a different league to the destructive m0rons that replaced him.

As part of Spinco, I'm beginning to think I should retire this year as a Honeywell employee and not move over with the spin. HR is being shady, we can't really get any good information about pensions, etc. I specifically asked the question about pensions in a recent call, the lack of response was telling. I do not like how the company "ring fenced" me without my consent so I can't move to another Honeywell business. Guess the Aero guys are all ring fenced now as well.

AdvanSix spinoff was a success for that company and employees; it’s management was selected carefully by Cote and Kranvis. Resideo and Garrett are disasters, because they were stuck with bad managers and liabilities, done by great Adamczyk. Let’s see what Adamczyk protege Kapur comes out with.

Remember that any news about restructuring MUST be publicly announced so the only people with useful information are the small group working the issues before the announcement.

The simple fact that you come here for news is very telling. Hearing nothing internally. The few communications that come out say nothing of value. They even had contest to name the company, so there’s no vision at all, not even in naming the new business.
Everyone in AM is clueless. Terrible leadership.

The most frustrating hush-hush spin ever. No info- no name - no leaders - no clue. As morale plummets : but hey futureshapers, stay focused! And go do your HDP and set goals for 2025 with no clue if you even have a job in the new company.
Typical Honeywell bs.
