My source is never wrong. And feels like this year will be big. That second part is an opinion.

Clearly you have time to be on here so you’re wasting company’s time. You sound expendable.
@1vj If you think you can define an individual employee's revenue contribution with any kind of precision I have to wonder which site you are a janitor at.
That makes sense. The stock is in the dumps.
This will likely be greater than 10%. It might approach 20% in some functions and OUs.
Radio check 1-2-3-4. Layoff updates?
@1vv who will go to the all meetings then?
Trimming all low performers equals 70% of Medtronic work force. Clean house Geoff!
I think you are explaining Revenue per employee (RPE). If an individual doesn't produce a certain revenue based on their salary, then you are first to get RIF.
I heard some juicy stuff today. Looks like minimum cuts across all OUs (full participation) then based on revenue vs overhead there will be a calculation which can drive further layoffs of 1 to 10 total headcount. It should be ugly and soon.
Nothing is safe. It all depends on the SGA for your OU as to how bad it is. But everyone will be affected….everyone.
CRM safe?
Yeah it’s happening. Last month was just the appetizer from what I hear.
Anything on Surgical? All they got is a Robot , which lets hope is actually selling. And a bunch of has been products.
@pt I heard Spine
Who's getting hit this time? In CST and I've been on my toes since last year tbh
This is true unfortunately. Layoffs coming and you will lose your job.
Which IMO?
IMO, I still favor an April time frame, 15 yr veteran of MDT RIFs. but IDK anymore.
Which BU?
Is it function specific?
I believe it. There are major layoffs across all industries. Do you think people can afford Medtronic products anymore?
