Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

The General has his marching orders...

He's coming for ya! Gone are the days when senior leaders get cushy flights and hotel stays in the US. Pappy's new #1 is going to begin a 'tour-de-force' to all the sites and start inspecting the troops. All the senior leaders are losing their shi*t and sending notices to the rank and file of "Here's what to say and here's what to tell him when he meets you."
It's an all out cluster%$#! folks and the funs about to begin. Get your resumes polished up because he's looking to cut the waste.

@3fgh+1uQJQt6M you're new here, aren't you? Follow the Town Halls. It'll be very apparent.

Has the Game of Thrones started for the CEO slot?

Pawan looked too good so Pappy off'ed him?

Meanwhile, Michel keeps rolling out bullsh-t slogans.

@2yar+1uQJQt6M no idea but the dominoes sure are beginning to fall fast. First the General comes in, then Pappy's favorite son is gone instantly

This sounds like it is restricted to IT.

Met is totally broken inside! Antiquated technology and inept employees. Every internal process involves a "workaround" in the year 2024. We are gaslit to all engage in a dillusional cult like hip hip hooray rainbows and unicorns mantra. Please wake up. Bad management will be the demise of this company. They will walk away with their golden parachutes, but you won't.

@cox+1uQJQt6M he's started lower already. You have to remember the AVP's and VP's are a protected class. It's literally written into their agreements and they also have stocks so pushing them out is harder. The only exceptions are going to be the AVP's who have no direct reports. One was 'asked' to move on already which isn't really a loss because he never contributed any actual work and only told others what to do.

Let's hope the General can actually fire the useless and inept AVPs and above, across the entire U.S. There are too many of them collecting cushy high salaries and they do $hit all day, every day. 🤞🏻
