Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Dex agrees to buy Xerox mif

Xerox has agreed to transfer several thousand units to Dex as part of a need to generate much needed cash.

The orders from the top have been to get rid of all inventory at any cost. This move is being done because they know the exit is coming and the problems being created for customers will soon be other people’s problems.

Look to see more layoffs come July in all areas.

Unless you are protected by the elite, surprises will be sure to follow.

As a stockholder, it is is so unsettling that no one on the board is even looking into the lies and over promises to customers.

If the stock was based on customer feedback, what would it be worth?

Be ready to be Staples. Off the exchange or bought by Fuji is coming folks.

Kyocera is hiring!

Some people just never learn and you can’t tell them anything.
If you feel so strong in your will to stay at xerox, go fall on your sword.
But know this. You were warned many many times. Sometimes you gotta let kids make their own mistakes. Too Bad….

Why would you think you are exempt from this disaster? Teflon coating only helps so much. Eventually the teflon flakes off and you get thrown away…

Dex is not as big as you think. Xerox future is to buyout as many small vendors and compete against Ricoh. No other companies can compete.

Dex was owned by Staples since 2019, why didn't they use Dex to repair the xerox self service models in the Staples stores? Why did they have xerox do it?

"We are just disgusted with Xerox’s poor management and bad decisions."

IT, Finance/accounting, M&A, Strategy have no talent left. All the yes men/women survived which means nothing will improve. The top guy has been failing for 6 years but nobody seems to notice.

And Everyone laughed when I said get the he-l out of xerox. They always label us as a disgruntled employee. No. Not really. We are just disgusted with Xerox’s poor management and bad decisions. If people knew the things that i know, well…let’s just leave it at that…

There is stuff going on here that would curl your hair, and make your eyes bleed.

If you are reading this and you are still employed there for whatever reason, you WILL be a Victim. Hold on to your a-s people.

As the Italians say….”she’s a no good…she’s a broke…”

Let me see if I have this straight. Xerox has transferred machines in field to Dex. Dex is going to sell xerox machines made by lexmark.

When will Dex figure out they can just sell lexmark machines? There has never been a man more in the middle than Xerox at this time.

MIF and inventory are two different paragraphs. He's not completely wrong. Two separate points.

Rumor is they transferred some MIF to DEX as part of the dealer agreement (in May '24) to entice them to start selling Xerox. It makes sense. Immediate placements to build credibility, serviceability, and cost justify building inventory levels of parts.

Dex don’t need a fleet of stinkers powered by Java and lotus notes!
Go on GEMS and resign

The only way Dex would carry xerox gear is if MIF and subsequent techs were included. This works great for xerox; offload payroll and Dex is beholden to buy parts n toner from xerox. It’s a win-win…unless you’re a Xerox employee or customer.

"Inventory = MIF? Go back to sleep."

MIF = Machines in Field
It isn't just Inventory sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

In Field means that they have been sold & being serviced.

Have your alternative facts fact-checked before posting.

So a big movement of inventory to generate cash means jump off the boat?
So we need nothing to happen to feel content?

This gives Dex access to coveted technology from Lexmark, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ninestar.

Is it just equipment being sold to Dex or is it service agreements, technician support, etc?

How many techs will be included in this deal? No dealer just absorbs several thousand boxes without support.
