The performance reviews are for documentation purposes. They are part of the legal trail, to justify who they keep and who the let go.
Why waste time and do a performance review if you don't know if that person will have a job with Chevron or not?
Is it really necessary to waste an hour on that if that person is let go? Aka 25% of employees?
My Performance review done on either Wednesday or Thursday two days ago. Nothing on job with cxv mentioned. Best of luck.
@3cvm+17wwgNMq you bring up a good point. All of a sudden bosses in a rush to do performance reviews???
Would they try and mask it as an evaluation meeting?
I would think your manager, but if
I get one I will let you know.
Who would this meeting request come from?
I was told if you get a meeting invite for next week you will be getting a package. That is the only thing I have heard and it wasn't official of course.
How many from Colorado will be notified?
you'll all be notified next week. the noble managed selections are finished.
Chevron employee here. Are you on the same selection process timeline as chevron? If so, it started last week. We will know selection results next week.
At Chevron we are hearing few rumors. Some managers are nice enough to unofficially tell people if they have a job or not
