Layoffs with two NS and some forced rankings of one NS in our department VAS. Anyone else’s departments affected?

@355 It was the norm before they moved to 3 rating options. The number of people impacted increased due to the reduction in rating options. The "ratings curve" always existed along with the "bonus pie" (size varies by team) that is split amongst a team.
As someone said, it's been the normal since the move to only 3 rating categories.
The figures are published as to how many in each category and enforced at SD and above.

Forced NS in PRE as well.
This is the new normal. It's done on an annual basis and has been going on for a couple of years now.
