Glad I chose to leave during the 2020 It cuts. I am in better place and make a lot more $$. To my IT friends if you are still in operations get out if you can.

@33g not true. It’s not good. High premiums, high deductibles. No where near close to what we had as active employees! Incredibly sad. CareFirst could do better.
@ck $500??? Are you kidding? I thought 20 years of service and at least 55 years old got you company covered health care on par with what we get as associates. Is this not the case?
@ck I will also give blame to BP - but AC was the one at the heart of the benefit/PTO cuts and the pension freeze.
Recommendations on whose hiring? Might as well get out since tenure means nothing since BP destroyed the organization. PTO reduced. Pension no longer funded. Bonus looks to be cut in 2027 ($500, what a joke). No health benefits even if you make it to retirement. What does this company have to attract and retain anyone? Nothing if they are preparing to be taken over.
