Oracle Health OHAI. I'm starting to search internally now, but at least I got 2 years of RSUs. I don't have a clue how many employees were affected. The news was provided by my boss's boss's boss, Jill.

CX support use AI agents that eat peanuts. Cheap.
Wait, what...no..nuts at all in CX !!!
Wait a minute....you got PEANUTS? I didn't legumes of any kind!
Fusion Support org is the worst !!! By reading this RSU post, wish at least this org get 10% of that pool. This org gives pe..nuts to ICs that too only for the mgr f..t lic..rs. And ofcourse no bonus/promotions or career path as many reported in many forums.
yes, I got 750 RSUs a year for the first 2 years. The units did not depend on the value of the RSUs. When I was offered the RSUs in June 2022 they were a bit below $70, and as of today they are a bit over $160, so I did get a big increase there. I feel lucky about that part.
wait, you get round numbers for stock amounts for RSU granted?
in CX I get RSU grants with USD target total (at least for the past few years), and stock amount can be like 329 depending on the stock price.
@2zd+1jgpdkzk5 - I don't know if I understand what you mean. I live in Ohio. I was hired in OCI and offered 130K plus 3,000 shares to be vested in 4 years, 750 shares a year. After my first year at OCI I moved to Oracle Health, which was a bad moved based on the layoffs there. Since I worked for 2.5 years, 1,500 RSUs were vested, minus taxes, of course. My last day was Jan 17.
For what I could tell, OCI pays a lot more than other teams, and a lot more people get RSUs in OCI. From rumors, it looks like most of the Oracle Health employees did not receive RSUs, unless they were leaders.
OP, he is saying that some favored people get RSUs assigned every year, not just a one time thing.
However, if these were 3000 RSUs with no base price, that is a huge award. I am thinking that you might have had some strike price attached to them. Is your basis 0 on these, or do you profit only above a certain higher value?
@ @2vp+1jgpdkzk5 - It's 3000 RSUs in 4 years. It's 750 RSUs per year. Since I was laid off after 2.5 years I only received 1500 RSUs, and I won't complain about that.
3000 RSU's awarded in a single grant? That's pretty good for an IC. Most IC's I know who get RSU's get 300-400 per grant, typically every year.
My sympathies for your job loss.
Health is an evolving domain. Wish you get a better job you deserve. All the best.
"...which means we can all look forward to massive increases in shareholder value!"
The rich get rich and we get fired!
Anyone have any information on how Oracle Life Sciences was impacted?
Well if we learned anything since Nov it's that profitable corporations are all that matter in this country. Individual casualties are just unfortunate side-effects of corp progress.
Elon told you how it will be. All US locals will be axed and replaced with H1-Bs.
...which means we can all look forward to massive increases in shareholder value!
And RSUs should get a big bump too.

Hi again, I'm the guy who started this thread. I just talked to my boss, and he told me that he heard it was around 100 people in our division, OHAI, but he told me it was a rumor, so who knows how close to that number it really is. He also thought there were more in other divisions. Again, nothing specific, sorry.
I was also impacted by the RIF on Jan 3rd. Last day of employment is Jan 17th & then Oracle will pay severance. 4 weeks for first year of work and 1 week for each additional year of work. I am curious as to how many people were impacted by the RIF.
RSU's get you in the door.....most leave before they are 100% vested. Companies are slick and well nasty. Oracle is one of the best at being nasty. Mgmt p*ggies.
What's an RSU?
Sorry for your loss.
I will not cry for you though, your earned RSUs alone are worth more than I made in total compensation working for the O over the last 3 years.
i worked in Oracle around 7 years .I also got impacted with RIF Nov 2023..I was having good rating and just two months before RIF I had 15% hike but still I got impacted..I was one of the critical resource and training new rookies day to day..I had seen unfair manager and HR management process.
Layoffs on a Friday?
Very unprofessional HR.
Well, that has set the tone for the new calendar year. They can now access new layoff funds.
Are you ready?
Which Oracle Health teams were impacted that you know of? US based?
I'm the guy who posted this thread, and I will answer the questions some of you asked.
First, I was told of the RIF yesterday, Jan 3. and told that my last day is the 17th, so I only have 2 weeks to find another internal job, which is very difficult.
Second, when you are given RSUs, they give you a set amount to be vested a quarter of them per year. My contract was 3000 RSUs to be paid 750 per year for 4 years. I was employed for 2.5 years, so I am vested only 1500 RSUs. I lose the other half.
how much time do you have for internal job searching?
could you clarify whether you got your RSU prior the vesting date? To my knowledge you lose all the un-vested RSUs upon job termination.
Also was affected by the RIF today as well. Got notified too.
