You do have the option of leaving rather than complaining?

The don’t give a damn what this site says. They live in a parallel universe where no negative information is permitted. They can’t even have serious and open discussions about how to improve productivity without it descending into a tribal slagging match between the EVPs. They don’t want external assistance from experts, only bottom feeders are welcome.

One does hope that Aramco top brass would read these post and reflect on how Frickedup the work environment is for expats and nationals. A serious organization would take action. Surely they must know how damaging posts from this site are when trying to recruit skilled expats. Perhaps KSA and Aramco will never escape from their backwardness.

@27y yup. that’s the plan. Enjoy all the perks while contributing nothing.

@252 oh I get it, guy. It’s simply ridiculous to hear constant complaints from certain expats who act as though they are being held against their will.

@1q2 Hey lady you still don’t get it huh? Let’s just hang around forever and collect every benefit from the kingdom without lifting a finger. Yep — that’s how ridiculously easy it is

@17t exactly! If you don’t like it- leave. It’s that easy.

In the old days it was always a matter of reaching milestones. 50 - 10 - 60

I guess under the new payroll, these numbers are not as meaningful.

Had a co-worker who crossed each month on the calendar like he's in prison. He was always stressed and miserable. You have a choice my guy. Play the game and have a positive mindset, find enjoyment in whatever form, Bahrain trips, sports, dodge work whenever you can, go home early, count your money, etc.

Or, perhaps it's time to go?

Amen. All will answer one day and I do feel sorry for the gashing and of teeth and wailing that will take place. God almighty has a perfect record that will be bought back to remembrance on that day. They say the memories fade. lol. God and you will have a perfect memory on that day. No court of appeals. The verdict is final. Pick your place. Yes I intentionally put my name for anyone that would gossip differently. Judge if you like.

Zhoom! What was that? That was your life, Mate! Oh, that was quick. Do I get another? Sorry, Mate. That's your lot.

I feel you, brother. Aramco was the most chaotic place I've ever worked at. It looks like an ordinary company on the surface, but you soon learn that policy is whatever anybody with wasta says it is, the "right" answer depends on who are you talking to, and its always seems to be your fault somehow. A stoic would tell you to focus on what you can control, but your personal control panel boils down to two buttons: "stay" and "go", and sometimes the management reaches over and hits the "go" button for you. If you continue to stay, you should realize that, while you are there, you are nothing, can expect nothing and will always be nothing.
