Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

I haven't gotten a raise in four years

I did get a lot of promises, though. I'm done waiting for them to come true. I finally managed to land a new position and I'll be gone in January. I can't believe I stayed here as long as I have. I guess my ability to convince myself that things will get better despite all the proof to the contrary is better than I thought.

Hooray, hooray, it’s a fantastic Holiday, Salvino is no more at DXC! He will not be missed as he was barely present. Let’s wait for the next re-org and wfr.

I keep getting emails saying someone in the company has died. They don't say what of. I imagine it's boredom. Or a thinly veiled threat from management to stop moaning that you've not had a pay rise since you started at DXC.

@2yiv+1q2KMo95 Does Broklehurst still work for DXC? I thought he would be long gone.

What a disaster, if you still have dinaousours like him who are still working in the 1990s then your done. Sorry for the poor people who work under him.

Glad I got out, hope he goes soon and it gets better.

@xgw+1q2KMo95 The "Brok"e is one one the worse id--t places you can work for.

The clients are leaving at a rate of knots under the "Brok" style.

You'll never get a rise under the Brok tower.

You must work for the "Broken"Horse.

Unfortunately there's no hope there.

In my 12 years at DXC I had one 3.5% and one under 1% pay increase. in the 48+ years in IT I already received at least a 6.5% to 15% increase.

Why did I stay so long , didn’t want to go out and look for a job where I needed to go into an office , was only on call one every few months (and never was called) and in the later years worked maybe 20 hours a week and took all the vacation time allowed

If you are under 50, in the US, and have any kind of ambition, you will use this tool of a company as a stepping stone. To Move ON!
If you are under 50 and continue to whine, You are probably not worthy to even be working for DXC. Good Luck to you after your easy tenure is over.
You will need it.
The history of pay raises and advancement is an old long story.
All the people I have seen capable of advancement have left.
The Whiners Remain!

how many (must be hundreds by now) articles are on this site all saying there are no raises and never will be - so don't be surprised!
Unless of course you are a failed exec at Accenture and know Mikey2, then its welcome to the gravy train!!
