Before I came here I thought I had done my research well and that I would be fine here. I didn't think the company was ideal, but let's just say I thought my priorities would be met. Well, it didn't happen! Now that I am leaving for a new company, also in this industry, I am a little afraid of making such a mistake again. No matter how good you do research, no matter what close people you trust tell you about the company, no one really knows much about that company until one starts working there.

Agreed. I think it is a near certainty.
News flash, big slim. The sh-t you out up with at SF is the same sh-t you'll put up with at any other insurance company. Grow a callous or GTFO. It isn't for everybody.
@3fgw-you have zero persuasive ability. Every post that you disagree with you call it big tech, or mafia, or big money or the China way. How about actually doing some independent research? Several years ago the same JD Powers outfit gave SF some really harsh customer service scores. Was that BS too? According to the majority of claims posts on this site it was accurate and deserved.
Bland, generic initial post.
I doubt you even are an employee.
@2yap. Just like big tech. If you have money you can buy off anyone to sell off the BS narrative. Sorry but your naive and kool aid driven.
Apparently your view on service does not match up to companies like JD Powers that does it for a living. Another infantile post.
Self Indulgent leaders and operations run SF.
Predetors and stalkers too. Technocrat show offs that don't even know or understand what they implement but hug five each other on their misguided roadmap
Glad gone. Weird people Manage that company. Nepotistic Mafia.
SF = Bain on Batman = Democrats.......We need a Batman today.
I could be wrong but I don’t think it could get worse than this so if they pay more, I’d do it. It’s all about the money to “them” so why shouldn’t it be to us? If it’s not more money, I don’t know if I would do it.
What company are you going to ? What type of job is it ? My guess is claims ?
Look on this site and see what current/former employees are talking about. Even better if you can’t find a thread for the company you’re going to. You’re likely to see the same bureaucracy at another mega corporation though.
