What was the severance package?
What’s interesting is that the Seagate careers page now has around 70 open US jobs. That # is way down from 200+ typically. Not only were there layoffs, there is likely a hiring freeze as well.
I saw the term usual severance..what is the usual? Thanks
To Post ID: @2xfi+1ieB0c3O: hope you're one of them that got laid off because your denial is dangerously misinformed
Can anyone comment on impacted teams, #s or roles in LCO?
SHK is has revived. The money saved from layoffs paid for a newly upgraded volleyball and basketball court that nobody uses.
Fake news!!!
Shutting down the sample line in LCO and getting rid of the many people is just so d-mb.
Are there still people working in SHK? I thought that design center was swirling around the bowl years ago.
I heard 70 in the US with only a couple in SHK and NRM. Sounds like LCO got hit pretty hard.
I heard of people at NRM, SHK and LCO. One reported received the usual severance.
On that note, I am disgusted with this company and their knee jerk tendency to layoff the minute there is one little tick down in profits. They will always side with the holy dividend before saving jobs, no matter the cost in the long run. But I guess it's how they can legally jettison long term employees. I will never recommend this company to any new grad.
which site is hit ??
Confirmed. Significant US surprise layoff.
The gang's getting back together at skywater anyway
How about SSDC?
Was there a package?
