Thread regarding Lumen Technologies layoffs

Blame it on the reign . .

“Presently, Lumen plans to go very deep and provide a tremendous amount of coverage in six of its urban markets, said Moreau. Keeping the cost of fiber deployment down is also a key consideration due to the scale of the project.”

“We know there are certain supply chain challenges with "labor and labor costs". We have a very significant supply chain management practice within our finance organization. And because we are building in dense urban markets, we have tremendous scale and are able to provide multiyear commitments to suppliers. We are also looking at and are bringing certain construction functions in-house so we can be in control of our labor costs and provide the kind of capacity we need.”

Think about it this way. The dums at Lumen believe in exploiting cheap labor from India. So why then did Lumen hire KJ? Makes no sense if Lumen can get a very smart CEO from India and pay that person much less. There's a lot of smart folks in India, much smarter than KJ.

Until the various MAFIA’s are dealt with properly, this will be nothing more than a stomping ground for woke “professionals” to pad their careers. I, personally, exposed them internally for their fraud, waste and abuse and was terminated for it. Literally, an E-4 out of the military understands leadership better. AI that sh-t and you’ll find me.

I am out of lumen, but never been happier. Lost weight, also loss the stress of working for a company that is intentionally destroying itself.

Great story! We wonder why they're at $1.08 per share today.

The market has spoken.

Starting to wonder how many public comments are generated by Chat GBT or CoPilot. Lots of "Buzz" words in there.

"We're going to continue our failed patchwork strategy, even in our largest markets. We'll be coy with prospective customers about specifics. Once we finally roll out our delayed project, we'll tell bypassed homes they're out of luck with no plans to ever serve them. Why are our competitors so successful? It's a complete mystery."
