Yesterday in Poland, the company was giving away old branded swag, furniture with company colors, and even coat hangers. It made me wonder whether this is connected to an upcoming rebrand.
At the same time, it feels a bit strange - even wasteful - considering how weak the company’s situation currently is, especially when our VCP bonus won’t even be paid out in full.
Curious if others have heard anything or have thoughts on this.

did they have any takers for the branded coat hangers and what are you going to do with branded furniture. You could hang your coat over the back of the branded chair.
Maybe it is not a coincidence. TPG recently acquired Hospitality and at some point in time was also a holder of Sabre "the Tech and Travel" company

So we paid a lot of money, for a new logo that will cost us a lot of money to rebrand to, that will cost us more money in legal problems, that will cost us even more money to rebrand to another logo since we cannot use this new logo.
After spending all that money, will we just revert back to the current logo?
New logo would probably look like 'Sabre industries' company which recently got acquired by TGP

@2wp VCP stands for "variable compensation plan". It is a bonus scheme for non-sales employees and tied to company performance as well as team and personal goal attainment rather than sales.

@fg to the individual justifying the lack of VCP - I agree, but answer why SIP gets paid on some beat of a random target which caused us to inflate our guidance only to come crashing down later? How did the leaders take the hit?

Rather than complaining about VCP not being paid in full, think about it. Sabre has not made a profit in almost 6 years. VCP is how you get a share of the profit. Why has Sabre paid any VCP when there's no profit? If Sabre hadn't paid VCP then there would have already been a profit as Sabre missed profitability by less than the VCP. Shareholders have not received a dividend in almost 6 years, stop complaining about not receiving full VCP, go get another job somewhere else that makes a profit and don't let the door hit your behind on your way out.
