Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Any WFRs coming to the UK&I soon?

Does anyone have any genuine information regarding WFRs in UK. I want out of this company, I have given 25+ years of service to this Frankenfirm and I am very close to leaving but risk missing out on a potential package if it's going to be on offer. I am guessing Q3 figures are not going to be good for region so hoping WFRs will follow. Any thoughts out there?

@2umz you mean 'what you think you're worth'

If you think you're worth more than you're paid, or if you're feeling particularly badly done to, why stick around? If you're not putting 100% into a job, why bother? It can't be very fulfilling

There are redundancies currently taking place, but if you are not in the area affected you are unlikely to hear about them. You van try approaching your boss or submitting a speculative request for a rVR quote from the VR quotes email address.

@2cey+13cDA50k Your nuts to put in 100% if the company is not willing to pay what were worth.

Da50k here. Sure, waiting around for a pay off while doing nothing will be a massive benefit to the company. Just retire and have done with it, geez boomers are nuts.

Da50k back to Twitter you Bot. If by chance you are real, you and your like are why this company gets away with what it does, not the thousands of hardworking people who have kept it going for years.

When the company has not given you a pay rise for years, and has taken away your bonus, and has not paid you for your past promotions, and has asked you to take a pay cut (to help executives on multi-million pound bonuses to make their numbers), then it is 100% legitimate to want a payout when you leave! After all it's what all the senior folk that have brought DXC to its knees get! What's the difference!?

@DA50K...thanks for your input but would love to understand why you think I and others like me have helped to bring this company, which I have been a part of for 2 years to its arse?

If you've been there for 25 years, you be better waiting for the package. I did. But yeah, you have to put up with the toxic atmosphere, but its like any pain - you can learn to bear it for a while - to get your money. The UK payout is worth hanging on for as for 25 years that will be a big amount to either pay off your house or put into savings. I had US friends who were kicked out after 20 years with only a few months pay (if that) and treated like criminals. That is the ugly side of corporate America.

You are not alone. Only people left in DXC UK&I are those who want to a package or those doing no work and getting away with it.

Kobe Bryant said in his last interview that he had made a promise to himself at 15:

"At the end of my career I want people to think of me as a talented overachiever. I was blest with talent, but I worked as if I had none."
