Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Results fantastic, reward not so much

In todays Applications Delivery townhall it started out with how fantastic the results were, they actually used the word fantastic several times.
It ended with an out of their depth HR rep saying, reward calculation only just started should be done by 1st August, but they wouldn't be able to match inflation.
At least they answered the question rather than just shout at staff like ShoutyMcShoutFace.

So yet another year where working at DXC means you earn less in real terms, whilst the workload keeps increasing. So that's 5 years out of 5.

Everything I am hearing is about there being no money for anything in FY23. Not for hiring, not for buying kit... So I can only assume not for raises either.

There is wfr in delivery too.

I assume this is the secret margin expansion phase of M2's play book.

So they won't match inflation 8.5-9.0% (US or UK) but perhaps 3% is doable in accordance with the 'Fantastic' profit range factor as per the compensation guidance?

It is a shame that a lot of April fiscal yr companies, although some delayed by 4 weeks, have now paid out and DXC needs until August and no doubt will 'back-date' the 5 months. What's 50% of 8ugger all?

reward calculation should have been Budgeted when they did the FY23 Budget. Shouldn't have to wait 4 months after your review to see if you got anything. DUCK (replace the D with an F) DXC

Fantastic Results! Wow!

So does that mean some real business growth and an end to layoffs? Errr, no. What it actually means is that the numbers weren't quite as bad as they could have been, and maybe a few less staff will be removed. Maybe.

Fantastic results for the execs on exec bonus schemes... Basically trousering the money with nothing left for us.

Just the same old M1 bs, getting sickenly rich by robbing from the peasants.

Well it’s not unexpected.
ShoutyMcshoutface and his crones have been feeding at the trough and continue to do so. The collective remuneration costs are witheringly huge and unjustified. Hopefully some unaffiliated shareholders might call time of this narcissistic attitude
