Kinetic cmo and his chief of staff were relieved of duty today. Business intelligence and revenue guy will take his place. New guy was poached last year from a consulting agency working on the windstream account.

Why are long term id--ts like JS & BB still here su-king a paycheck and making decisions that do not benefit anyone in the company??? They both have been wasted paychecks for some years now and yet never seem to get shown the door. Just unbelieveable how we can keep these people in a management position when they are so dam clueless about how the real world works. I have heard BB speak and he will say the most asinine thing but the yes men tell him how great his idea is. 🖕

The single biggest problem with Kinetic is JS's leadership. He is a mini-TT that wants to dictate what Kinetic does with no regard as to whether it will actually work or not.

Why are we dipping our toes into billing for YoutubeTV, AT&T Mobile, Physical Home Security, etc?

All of that is a waste of resource and isn't going to improve any real metric for the business. It is just stuff he dreams up while snorting on the weekends.

The marketing org is a headless chicken and inspires little confidence. There is no organization at all. They installed clueless people.

  • Vague platitudes given as objectives
  • "Do better every day" ???
  • "Do what works" ???
  • "Relying on rest of the org to determine marketing stuff" uhh?
  • "Wants to make data-drive decisions" directly contrasted by JS saying no more testing

It's all bad and I'm not blaming the newly installed heads, this is reflected on JS horrible decision.

While I agree this company has many useless DEI and ERG focused roles that add nothing of value to the business and should be absolutely removed, what are you seeing that makes you think the layoffs are DEI related at all?

They are laying off EVERYONE and ANYONE and you honestly sound like a braindead mo--n which likely contributed to your firing.

I have zero confidence in Kinetic leadership. They fail upwards and have no clue what they were doing and actively make contradicting decisions that hurt the company.

There was no reasoning for why they made this unpopular move. Not sure what qualifications the replacement has either.

I love this company, actively dumped all of the support on the next gen switch product, now all of the former voip experts have left from the analysts up to the engineers.

This company is totally fu---d as they relied on DEI metrics on who to keep versus let go.

They brought Clay on who had a real vision for this dumpster fire org.
Within 18 months they get rid of him and replace him with a poached data analytics contractor on a whim...

There is a fundamental lack of understanding for how marketing operates. They want results now but fail to realize there are steps that need to be take to get there.

Absolutely horrible move and a complete failure to identify actual talent.
