Wanna hear something funny… at Intelligrated employees were never incentivized to work the actual holiday, even tho many people did. For years we were told ‘your check is right, you get paid your regular rate + holiday pay (that you would get even if you didn’t work that day) = double time’ - but, they never considered and would not listen to anyone that questioned it that it was WRONG, and they should’ve been paying AT LEAST time and half for the hours worked on the actual holiday (and then you still get your holiday pay, so getting some kind of bonus for actually working on the holiday). Even funnier is when they did finally realize they had been doing it wrong for YEARS, they only backpaid employees affected for the year it was corrected, which I believe happened in like a March, so they weren’t paying much back if you had been there for years prior and had worked many holidays. Crazy!

They got these id--ts to work overtime during Thanksgiving.
Instead they made a mistake on payroll. No triple pay. If that wasn't bad, some of them got straight pay on Saturdays and even the holidays.
Guess what! Some of them didn't even get paid for the days they worked. What's sad is some of them got paid straight pay. Oh I already said this.
They said that they'll have to wait 3 weeks. In order to receive the pay. Since checks were already calculated out.
I told him to look at the bright side. Unlike the vendors. You don't have to wait 6 months.
