Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Thank your luck stars...

We have a CEO and leadership team who can deliver during a recession. In business you can either be a man of the people and go broke, or you can make difficult and unpopular decisions which in turn propels a company into greater success and fortune. Applause all around for leadership team!

Is that you, Elizabeth? Do you and FB’s accountability keeper actually believe this drivel?

Had a previous boss ask me to consider returning. There is not enough money in this world I could be offerred to return, but I haven't replied to his message because I respect him too much to sh-t on his workplace.

This is bullsh-t and literally everyone at Fiserv knows it.

@2ssh+1l5oYcrN , you must be using an old computer or something, cause the rest of us have that option. This thread is currently having 72 reactions (7 thumbs up and 65 thumbs down) .

Why on this site is the like/dislike option not available? Most of the ridiculously positive posts should be given 3 thumbs down. Frank and the his cronies have stripped knowledge, resources and moral from the workforce People who have given their lives to the company get 1-2 percent raises at best, while the talking heads make millons. Karma has to weigh in at some point.

Operational excellence??? Who had the brilliant idea to remove Adobe pro from just about all laptops with no prior knowledge…one very I’ll informed contract tech person was even telling people they would need to use ariba and purchase a new license…what a stupid idea..people lost a lot of time trying to get the tool back

Operational Excellence in the focus every year. Last year included. What is senior management going to do to focus on Operational Excellence other than remove employees who are focusing on Operational Excellence? If I keep saying Operational Excellence and not doing anything for Operational Excellence maybe you will see how Operational Excellence is a running joke.

Could be use of ChatGPT bots except I would expect even if the software had some glitches it could sort out enough of the internet to derive its writing fiction.
I think it’s some poor schill in corporate branding that has a really poor skill set and can’t find anything else and therefore has to suffer with a terrible job.

Do you think Fiserv management is just using ChatGPT bots to post these smarmy Frank-lubing posts on this forum?

Our past is in the past and isn’t relevant to our future. Silly statement. I’m sure there are plenty of convicts that would like that perspective.
Doesn’t matter I robbed a bank yesterday, that’s the past and I shouldn’t look over my shoulder about it. Silly logic.

My viewpoint on 2023 is I’m pleased I can hold my head up knowing I don’t have licking franks shoe in my job description. How does your job description read?

Leadership? Put down the me-h pipe. There is no leadership here. There isn’f any direction. Just overworked worker bees stressed out by First Data’s inferior infrastructure and unworkable systems. However, they are good at virtue signaling.

As the lay offs continue, knowledge is leaving and soon there will be no one with any knowledge left to support. Sure you can bring in new and smart people, however they will not know all the in's and out's of what they are supporting, making them useless.

My perspective --- 2023 focus is on operational excellence and improving everything for our clients and associates. So no matter, everything is our past is our past. What matters now is going forward and I think all associates will be pleased with the focus on Operational Excellence.

Lol. This "plan" in not sustainable. Client service is in the toilet. Contracts are only going to keep people in place for so long.

This great plan would be good for CEO's and their minions looking to make a quick buck on their way out the door, but even that is going poorly. Stock will come back down the few dollars it went up soon.

The proof is in the numbers. The plan is working. It will only get better on its way to $200. Congrats folks

Or, be neither get lucky and pay the Piper later because strategically you stripped the company in key places so far you have no prayer of digging out of the enormous ho-e you created in service and development. Our future was leveraged for a short term win. It all crumbles when clients leave and we can’t backfill talent based on out of touch hiring practices and office culture. Wall Street is fickle, sell.

Mickey Mouse is doing well and only laid off 7000. Far less than Frankie boi did.
Perhaps Mickey Mouse would be a better CEO.

Well, since the employees didn't have any impact, I guess we don't have to work anymore. Frank's got it from here folks.

All hail our glorious leader and may the orange beacon of Innovation be a source of joy to our friends and fear to our enemies. We shall all raise our voices in praise of glorious leader's wisdom and skill as he vanquishes the weak and propels us into the future. And may he continue to skillfully raise EPS with personnel cuts and stock buybacks for only a chosen one could so masterfully influence an income statement at no personal risk or sacrifice. It is a honor to serve him.
