Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

2024 will be the year I leave

That's my Christmas and New Year's resolution, combined. I'm done with this place.

Tom Wilson is such and a-s. Just a reminder of his letter to the NYT written before, during and after additional outsiurcing of jobs to Northern Ireland and India. Completely shameless.

I left this craphole in 2014. I can't believe how you all are still putting up with that place. I see nothing has changed as they continue having layoffs.

@#1 TW fanboi (they/them) remember that when they fire you. You find yourself on the euthanasia table, as TW & his team administer the lethal dose that brings your world to an end. Then they applaud one another & laugh as you're twitching in agony. YOU'RE NOT A big dog, just an obedient mutt.

Most that I know are waiting out for severance and hope to be let go from this vile disgusting company in the new year. The forced movement of positions and employees to vendors seem less likely now as most of the positions left cannot be done by third parties and would likely be moved to India in house leading to layoffs and severance which is what we want.

Just waiting around for the severance at this point and using the time to job search for when I’m eventually laid off. I’ll take the money and be on my way thanks!!!!!

Left in 2022 after many years. I got more than enough out of them comp-wise, so I'm happy. Worked hard and delivered, but they paid for it :).

“More layoffs and movement of departments and position to vendors are certain in 2024.”

I’ve been hearing this for three years. It’s time for me to step up my job search. I’m so tired of playing the numbers game.

There is a good chance that if you don't leave in 2024 that the company will be making you leave anyways. More layoffs and movement of departments and position to vendors are certain in 2024.

I wasted 15 years. Brutal. Been gone for 3 now and can’t believe how much my career has taken a positive turn.

Five years here is more than enough. I probably should have left sooner.
