Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Next round of redundancies to include L4?

Heard rumours around this, anyone heard anything?

Disclaimer: I'm not a troll, I work for DXC and am genuinely concerned if I'll have a job come Christmas..

AP/AR etc has been cut so much already, all that’s left are the checklist brigade and they have no clue. Can’t even get simple payments processed, but damn sure everything is billed on time.

iPost ID: @1nxo+1622mfgs f you're billing, you might be OK If not, you don't deserve to be kept on

If your not billing it's your managers fault, not yours. It's up to management to assign work, its up to management to bill back.

So your saying Accounts receivable payable and any other support group should be let go because they aren't billing. Some people don't have a clue.

Ask about "DXC blue".
Try to find out someone who knows about this and shares some details.

That's great. Now we know why the roll out of the car policy was postponed to September.
The good news is, for those who survive the m—acre, better cars will be available.

Some say, there are a number of deals having real fiinancial issues, as the terms accepted were very unfavorable.
It might be more clever to have better sales team / deal assurance team in place, instead of firing delivery staff and keeping and promoting the ones who created the mess.

So in case you know how much the revenue decline was/is, than you know how much staff needs to go.
As there were some big customers lost, ...

Dear Colleagues,

Our company is on a transformation journey and we will run and grow our business by focusing strongly on our customers, cost optimization, and seizing the market opportunity ahead. All these initiatives will help us build the foundation for growth.

We will need to take necessary steps to simplify our organization and to right-size our cost structure to our revenue in order to stay competitive and improve our profitability to a sustainable level. This transformation process will include a reduction of the DXC employee-related cost base in Germany in all three legal entities, EntServ Deutschland GmbH, DXC Technology Deutschland GmbH and DXC Technology Deutschland Consulting GmbH across the functional areas of sell and deliver.

We have started the consultation process with employee representatives of DXC Technology Deutschland GmbH and EntServ Deutschland GmbH. We are negotiating various options to balance business continuity and individual impact. Our target is to implement all transformation measures by the end of September. We will continuously inform you about the status and progress of the negotiations in alignment with the Works Councils.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns you can reach out to your manager.

Kind regards,

Hans and Joachim

Hans Leisentritt

Major global VP successfully delivering huge transformations for HP, HPE and DXC leaves to be replaced by an a– that did nothing when he joined HPE and had no respect from his peers then. Now leading a core service line that where the best delivery experts have all jumped ship to Atos, ComputerCentre, Avanade and Accenture in the past 12 months. Lawrie and now Salvino have destroyed this business.

Europe will be hit significantely, e.g. Germany, with the WFR.
My guess is, this will be announced in autumn.

Typical move by DXC to WFR more staff - mostly the hard working grunts on the ground rather than ticking boxing / brown nose ineffectual management.

It's the same usual story - regular WFR and cut cut cut - the staff and level of good service it once provided - but no more.

Thanks @dvv+ for pointing out the obvious that I can just leave or quit anytime, I didnt realise... what an id–t you are as you then you go on to say that you would leave if something better was available but you are old and your bones ache and your hearing isn't what it used to be. Did you ever think that maybe the same things restricting your departure might be similar to the drawbacks for me leaving this company. In fact I'm in early 40s but looking for a big payout which is available here in UK thanks to good employment law which sadly for you yanks isn't available there. So long boomer

If @hhu+1622mfgs wants to get WRFF'ed then leave, your not a slave, you can quit anytime you want !

Yes WFR are going to be around forever, so if you can find something better, more pay, work from home all the time. Then take it and never look back.

In my 40+ years in IT this is the worst place ever I worked and would leave if I could find something where I work from home all the time and got a decent wage. Not easy for us over 60 in the USA
