Beware. Not only did Windstream drop my insurance without notice, leaving me with 3 months of physical therapy bills to pay out of pocket to the tune of over 5K........they also told a potential employer I quit without notice while I was still on LTD. Joke's on them - I got approved for SSDI today. Bye WS!

some dont understand what it means to suffer from a real disability. These are largely the brainwashed people who think our system is 'okay'. You work hard and you will live a good life.. Yeah right. Welcome to reality. You want to get ahead you gotta claw your way there. To people with morals - this isn't an option.
Meanwhile - your job opportunities are shrinking. The value in your money is shrinking. Your ability to break away from a paycheck to paycheck existence is disappearing.
Boomers like to argue about the 'old days'. Those days are gone. Reset reality. Just because there are still some opportunities doesn't mean that there are plentiful opportunities for all.
People who live on SSDI often live in squaller. $800 a month wouldn't even pay 1/3 rent of a simple 3 bedroom home in my area (where the jobs are).
