With cases increasing everywhere and delta affecting even vaccinated folks, will BOA change their tune on RTO? What a mess they are asking everyone to go back at the beginning of cold and flu season while covid is starting to rage again. I’m hoping they’re going to see the light and not push people who are uncomfortable back to a crammed office.

I did speak with neighbor who works at Wells Fargo. Originally he was suppose to go back September 7th but with Delta they are pushing back until at least October. It seems like an easy thing to do...follow the ficking science....
@2kzr+1c3kiYIN you must be a paid mo.ron BofA shill. Unions have bargaining power to protect their members. Why do you think business went to Asia after unions in the US got wiped out? Because there was nothing and nobody who had any authority to stop them. Your exact argument opposite is true.
Yes, form a union, and see your jobs go to India. You're just making it easier for BofA to get rid of y'all. Too many demands from the spoiled American employees. Oooh, my fingers hurt from too much clicking on the mouse, I have carpal tunnel syndrome! My back aches because the company didn't provide an ergonomic chair when we we were sent to WFH, I'll take a disability leave.! My gender neutral partner and I are adopting a baby, paternity and maternity leave! I was passed on for promotion because of my age/color/religion/s-x/, I'm calling a lawyer! My boss looked at me funny; my colleague asked me if we can have lunch together, #MeToo!
Too many labor laws protecting the mediocre and woke employees doing the bare minimum and half-a$$ work, just like a civil servant. BofA has been functioning like corporate welfare. So go ahead and unionize, because BofA hires kids in a nonventilated shirt triangle factory and have their employees go to deep mines to dig coal and inahke soot all day.
In my opinion NO they will not halt RTO. In fact I don't see any company, like BOA, that is set on RTO ever sending everyone back home to work.
The 9 - 5 Monday - Friday working in the office is over for progressive companies. Non forward thinking companies, like BOA, who want to struggle competing for talent, will always be stuck in the past. Yet, don't forget that they demand associates always embrace change with open arms.
Our team was recently told that the 9/9 date is an INVITE, not requirement. Has anyone else had this clarified for them?
@1obl+1c3kiYIN here is some info, probably not company approved but who cares:

Not represented by a union, but want to be?
If a majority of workers wants to form a union, they can select a union in one of two ways: If at least 30% of workers sign cards or a petition saying they want a union, the NLRB will conduct an election. If a majority of those who vote choose the union, the NLRB will certify the union as your representative for collective bargaining. An election is not the only way a union can become your representative. Your employer may voluntarily recognize a union based on evidence - typically signed union-authorization cards - that a majority of employees want it to represent them. Once a union has been certified or recognized, the employer is required to bargain over your terms and conditions of employment with your union representative. Special rules apply in the construction industry.

If we don't have bargaining power, we're just sheep at the mercy of the wolves in charge and the designated Judas goat.
Somebody with a private server, set up a site and get the petition going!
Let's see how long this post stays up.

Why can’t we unionize? I know the financial industry is super under-unionized, but if we had someone to advocate for us we wouldn’t be getting forced into the office during a HUGE surge that could put us at risk for contracting covid. This entire thing is BS
I seriously doubt the leaders are talking about halting our RTO. The market exec on our call today mentioned no less than a dozen times how important and essential is that we all get back into the office as soon as possible. He also said how things are “back to normal”, the US literally had 108k covid cases yesterday, is he on a different planet. Oh yea, and at the end of the call we were told how valued we are. It sure doesn’t feel like it.
BofA is run by a bunch of fossils!
I agree that most roles can not be WFH, but you had 18 months to put together multiple use cases and not a cop out plan of 100% RTO.
The mentality of CB, TM, BM is saw dust at a lumber mill. Chocking us out and bringing minions back to the office is the way they have done things.
Without seeing employees/butts in office seats, they can't envision a future where people are WORKING their butts off from home. Most didnt take vacation during this pandemic.
What was our thanks?? RTO?? or "Back to work" as if we were on fkn vacation?
I am looking daily at remote/hybrid jobs. 22 year veteran at the bank! if i cant find something i'll gladly take the package!
The 100% return to office was a stupid idea. Taking pictures of people and mass emailing how they are happy to be back at office is a stupid idea. Risking peoples lives and families by forcing 5 days a week commuting as the delta hits is a stupid idea. Telling them you can drive, taking hours extra, if you are worried is a stupid idea!
Think of the positive employee response if BM came out at that townhall and just said "hey, we are still worried about you guys. Let's try a hybrid until end of year and go from there."
Boa is a limb if the Democratic Party they will do whatever the dims tell them. There’s no more COVID it’s all BS funny no one has the flu anymore it’s all COVID ...funny people ki---d by g-n shots are listed as Covid deaths..don’t go back to the office get a new job BOA sux, they fire 90% of minorities and say they support them, they hypocrite to the highest level .
They have already spent too much money sending people back. Cathy wants us all there to suffer and get sick.
Rumor has it senior leaders are already in discussion about possibly halting the return to office
BOA will not change course on the RTO fiasco. This shlithole company doesn't give a damn about you employees. This CEO dude only cares about shareholders and the bottomline. He knows a lot of you will quit or try to squirm your way out of RTO. This evil plan that he is unleashing is helping him to avoid layoffs . He knows a lot of you will leave. This is just a plan to get rid of you.
