Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

USB layoffs in March?

Heard today might be another round of cuts before AVIP particularly national accounts. Would they even have anyone left to do the work? Maybe professor R should be the one getting a pink slip

@2krs glad to hear. Just trying to nudge my former colleagues here if need be.

Because I have bills to pay and mouths to feed. Once I have another job offer in hand I'm out.

To the comment about the Hudson:

Why. Do. You. Still. Work. At. That. Company?

I know I shouldn't be surprised given this is Met but seriously. What else can they cut at this point? Are they going to start laying off senior leadership? Us nobodies are doing the jobs of three people already. I've been so stressed out the past few weeks from work I've fantasized sometimes about driving my car into the Hudson to find relief.

I'd like to see Khalef spend one day on the phones and still think at the end, "Everything is going great." I love having customers scream at me because of Catalyst problems.

Yeah bonuses wont be impacted. Those cut mid year usually get a prorated bonus based on the prior year.

Hearing the same about March/April cuts but timing is not related to preventing avip. Those being chopped will still get their avip.

Anyone that worked through Dec 31 should get a bonus. It's ruthless to cut and take the bonus too.
