@2k8 your words fall empty when you’re part of that team that’s the problem

Maybe the problem is you. If it is so bad at Mattel just leave. If you are as great as you think you are and it is all the a-s-kissers holding you back, any other company would be lucky to have you. Stop trying to make yourself feel better by making Mattel the problem. You are the problem. If you are unhappy move on. Otherwise you are choosing this and just whining.

Don’t listen to the spin doctors, Mattel is a soulless company. But wait it’s on the list for best 100 company’s to work for…..newbie’s happy to have a job and not experienced enough to know better. Look at most of the managers and directors in ES, yes people holding on to their jobs like leeches su-king the life out of people and make working at Mattel a drag. Su-k ups stay a float because of hack directors and VP’s that like to have a fan club

@a4 That CEO was the worst and her exit umbrella was one of the highest. She made terrible acquistions and we lost a ton of $$$

Stock price is $14.84 with total market value less than 5 Billion. That is bad performance .

If there is a robust economic environment ,like 2021 ,that provided Mattel a reason to give huge bonuses. That’s a win. Received tens of thousands in bonus that year . Now it the opposite is the case. Keep complaining champ.

@ar

Why do you think, if you really had to guess? Can't be that hard to piece together, even for you...

@a4 you mean after the government printed a ton of money and mailed checks to everyone who was forced to work from home and needed toys to occupy their children while they worked?

Worst day for the stock since October 1999. That cost the Mattel CEO her job. So “growth mode” did not work, cost savings mode did not work. So circle back to IP driven product to pay the bills. Employees are last on list when it comes to payments. Remember 2021 was best year financially ever for Mattel, no BS to get in the way. Profits and bonuses in 2021 reflected this! How about those good ole days of 2021!

They’ll probably have to lay off some people first to scrape together money for small bonuses.

No one said it's at target.

They can give you 50 bucks and still say they're paying a bonus. They've done it in the past.

So we'll see what we get.
