Feeling stuck

I can’t keep up anymore. It’s like every time I get close to a goal, something changes, and I end up missing out on promotions or extra pay. The rules keep shifting, and it feels like no matter how hard I work, I’m always a few steps behind. It’s just exhausting at this point, and I’m over it.

Are you motivated to continue to come up short? Is this really the work you want to continue doing? Life’s full of choices. Either go ba--s to the wall or do something else that will fill that space in life’s journey. Remember, tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.

It’s meant to be that way. It’s not like this at most carriers! Post your resume and
hope for the best!

It's all on purpose. Plus with the new rating structure the vast majority of the company all gets lumped into the same rating regardless of band or position....unless you are very very bad or very very good. So case in point just do what is expected as moderately to high level performance does not get you any higher ratings anymore.

Take care of yourself and don't put this company any higher than just another job.

Not true genius. NOT AT ALL like this everywhere. Unlike you, I haven't spent my career at only 1 employer. So I know how things are outside of this place. True that no place is perfect but I'd venture a guess MOST places are a lot better. Joined here because I thought the role looked interesting. Little did I know the gaslighting and toxic culture this place thrives on. So keep trying to make people feel bad instead of trying to build them up. A very sarcastic Merry Christmas to you as well!

If you are looking for a participation trophy, I need a right fielder on my tee ball team. Nothing is fair in life, especially at work. Guess what- it’s like this in every job. No one is making you stay. My guess is that if you leave, you will be posting the same message at your new company’s site. Merry Christmas 🎄

Feeling exact same way at same time I'm reading your post. The only ones that seem to always be happy are the bootlickers that most sensible people avoid like the plague. All made worse by a totally inept boss that the bootlickers seem to worship. Really want out of here and applying and interviewing. Only been here a couple years and it's been a pretty miserable 2 years.
