@4kx That just doesn't make sense. There are no names or strategies here for HR to use. I haven't seen one response where any appeals were successful. The company doesn't have the burden of proof.
Please stop. HR and other employees are already aware of this site. By making your actions public, you risk providing them with evidence and preparation to contest your unemployment claim. This could significantly work against you.
At your own risk
I was denied also stating I could have kept working.
@3nc Typo. They said I could have continued working.
@389 I was denied too. 1st they said they couldn't pay me till August 2026, then they said I could have started working.
They totally manipulated and deceived us stating they would not contest unemployment. I guess that was true since twc actually makes the call.
DENIED!!!🙅
I was denied also. You are lucky and blessed if you were approved.
@2hy
Copy that...working second appeal and have same evidences and statements as that was the situation for all of us. Bothers me that they stated had made call to me and left vmail and never got it. Think if I had talked to someone, initially, like you did, and explained the situation, showed the detailed emails (I had them in appeal, but Appeals Officer didn't review...just stopped at what initial statement was from company that I left "voluntarily" and TWC then translated to "Quit").
Fortunately, the next level (Commissioners Appeal) involves 3 different Commissioners. Hopefully, the evidences (what you showed and some other indicators of the risk to my specific position) are taken into account.
@28f
When I applied, I was contacted by TWC and they informed me Corebridge stated I quit for the buyout. I explained that I did leave "voluntarily", but only because I felt my job was at risk. I told them I had emails from the employer that state there may be a reduction in the workforce in the future, with less favorable offers. They asked me if I could forward them the emails. I did and within a week after that I received my unemployment funds. The whole process was about 6 weeks. They never said that I was denied. They just asked for my input after the company said I quit.
@28s
Thanks...similar...took a long time for initial ruling. The appeal paperwork also stated that TWC called the "Claimant" on 7/10. I did not get a call nor did I have a vmail. smh
Working through the process for next appeal.
@28f it's been 4 weeks for me and I haven't received a decision yet
@1w
I was denied...appealed...just completed Appeal Tribunal and was denied (30 min after the call, while they have 10 business days)...were you outright approved and if so, anything you cited on TWC website?
@OP Yes, I did.
@1cg - actually, you can trust responses on this board more than you might think.
Can you trust responses on a board like this?
