The company is so poorly managed , they overpay management, they allow these techs to take home there trucks , I see cable trucks parked in one location sometimes for 2-3 hrs , here’s an idea why don’t you take back contractor work and give it to in-house techs

Well actually I am a retired tech did 15 years in plant and we would take our trucks home on our standby rotation , not every day . And if you can honestly tell me all these trucks going all over the system back and forth to techs houses and then driven in to work the next day is not a waste of gas and wear and tear on the trucks then you really have no clue , this company is loosing money and that is a small example of why
@2gy if you have not realized by now, most leadership is clueless in this company. In fact, I can tell you with 100% certainty there is leadership of teams that has no idea what their own teams do. So, how could DM even have a clue whats going on when the leadership that reports to him has no idea whats going on. Not trying to defend him either but that's just the truth. This company is ran by a bunch of clowns with their heads up their as--s enjoying the smell of their own sh-t while the company crashes and they continue to get their bonuses. And when their plan fails, its everyone else's fault because their sh-t don't stink. I mean they confirmed it because all they do is sniff their own sh-t all day.
@OP why is taking the trucks home a bad thing ? Have you ever done on call before ? Obviously not , it’s only used for work . How about you drive your personal car to work everyday , even at 2am . To switch vehicles . D-mb idea
Shareholders should sue all the past management for the made up dreams they knew would never work.. thats why when things started getting real they "ran" but they still had all the stock options and so on for doing poor work??? they keep stealing and stealing and everyone is like OK pass the buck. now no buck to pass as it's only the "employees" or should i say contractors.

- who is still making money of this ?
- the company is filed with questionable people from the start....
- make noise so you try and help your self ...maybe its too late???

Read the room bro this company is getting rid of techs it’s happening . Of course techs are going to do as little as possible, I know I do I will finish a job and sit around for an hour . It happens just acknowledge and accept . 20 days and we will be Mastec

You’re just a troublemaker and anyone with a brain in their head can tell that you’re making this up. Nobody does what you are claiming. Workload is too heavy these days, shops are understaffed and all trucks have GPS in them. Try again next time.
I have a neighbor works on the system , leaves 730-800 in the morning and gets home 3-330 every day , no wonder they are loosing money they cant even manage their workers company pays for his gas every day and they dont even realize they go in late and come home early ,Poor management
