I've been on the site for a while now and here is my observation on what kind of posts mods/admins delete:
- Foul language (a big no-no)
- Defamation
- Racism
- Anything that has personal info
- Using names excluding public figures like PR, Comms, Board and C-Level)
- Unsupported negative posts (e.g., you will all be laid off, ford engineers are not competent, etc)
- Trolling (they axe this sometimes, I've seen some troll posts survive but they typically nix it)
- References to violence and sgurd (read this in reverse, I don't want to be tagged as pitching it here, merely trying to avoid being blocked)
One does not need admin access to request that a post be removed. Anyone can do that by sending an email to administrators. Once a thread has been flagged it is closely monitored.
And anything can be bought….just saying.
I agree that it is not a good idea to use corporate issued devices to visit and participate here. However, location based and web browser settings on your personal devices could give up your location.
It is not stupid at all to think through how web traffic can be tracked right down to cost of clicking on adds. personalized web experience comes at cost of privacy/ anonymity.
@2bpp+1f0v9nLE nobody has admin access to this site from metlife, that's just stupid. And even more stupid is if you are using your work phone or laptop to visit here.
Do you think Comms/PR would be more likely to monitor this board rather than HR?
I have had posts deleted and it happened very quickly where it wouldn’t be noticed to anyone other than poster. What is interesting is that the posts of mine that were removed did not violate rules or contain trigger words. Never understood why they were removed and WHO exactly is monitoring this board and removing because they don’t like something said. I bet they can figure out who we are too…. Cookies and bread crumbs….
This is stupid. Post something worthwhile with actual information or go away.
