The Xerox / HP deal mathematically no longer makes sense with XRX at $27 a share. Deal was cash plus XRX. Deal is DEAD. Without HP, Xerox is screwed. (Deal was already dead due to heavy debt load and Xerox fabricated $2B in synergies - typical Xerox BS)

Well, beside boomers, kids are quickly realizing that there's no real need to print anything. Don't expect to see your grandkids print much. Walked into a startup filled with young guys and they use Adobe signature, ipads, etc. They weren't using their printer at all.
Xerox announced today they are suspending the takeover attempt due to the coronavirus. They said they do not want to put shareholders at risk by doing the road shows and presentations.
Stick fork in.

It’s official. Xerox is running away from the HP takeover in utter shame. Jonny V has been defeated, head down, feverish and coughing all the way. Xerox can’t survive without a partner, and no one will partner with Xerox. Only viable option will be complete company break up and fire sale. Icahn looses.
Xerox has been working with HP Korea on new product to replace FX product once the agreement ends in 2021. Seems like Xerox is putting all her eggs in one basket. If the merger don’t go through, they’re in s**t!

i dont know where this deal is now because of the stock market crash, my thoughts are it could be suspended for 6/12 months? In the meantime everyone will feel the pinch.
