Look up the new contract if you don’t believe. So a UPS driver makes more (on average!) than most of you prestigious engineers. LMAO! Why do you still work here? Garbage truck drivers also make more than you do with full heath benefits and probably a pension too. Have a nice weekend!

As an engineer I would try to read before posting: 170K including benefits. The salary ~ 95K after 5 years. Your really earn less? If you are an engineer at Seagate earning less then 95K even though reading is difficult, it might be still o.k.
One thing the OP didn’t pick up on is $170,000 over a five year period. I would have to live in my camper for that kind of pay.
They get paid bcoz they work hard. Show me a person who works a lot in Longmont

Well, you got me there. It’s totally true that nobody at Seagate could last two weeks as a UPS driver because there not conditioned to work hard. Never mind folks please continue to collect your pants Seagate and stay in your own lane.
A small number of family and friends are or have been UPS drivers. No one at Seagate wants to work that hard for a living. From top to bottom, No One.

For you engineers making 85k a year just know that you are lower than an experienced UPS package handler. You aren’t special. You aren’t doing better than most. You aren’t doing well at all. You are only above average in your own mind. I feel bad for how hard it is to live so poor and think everyone else out there is doing worse when they are actually doing better than you.
