Isn’t it funny the company offered VERP packages to people with old mindsets only to turn around and hire people over 50. Make that make sense.

“Old Mindset” is just code for they want a loyal and obedient workforce that will not question their actions. Any failed objective is attributed to the lack of obedience in carrying out leadership’s wishes rather than examining the objective or the methods.
