Did anyone receive approval for their medical or religious exemption to the vaccine mandate?

Calling people bootleggers yet demanding they be injected with something against their will and surrender something as basic and personal as their own literal bodily autonomy... lol, unbelievable.

@2zhh Agreed, It's not just about the cost. The issue will be finding a testing facility that meets the requirements and can consistently get your results back to you in a timely manner. No one has any idea what the demand will be after the mandate or whatever other company directives go into effect.

@2zox: Yes it seems Honeywell is trying to make it oppressively burdensome to meet the weekly testing requirement. Cost is one factor if insurance won't cover it. Mine is through CIGNA/Honeywell and at this time they're stating they won't cover it.

Next, with many companies also also putting the same testing requirement in place I'm concerned about simply finding a testing resource and getting the test results back in time week over week and to be able to submit them to meet Honeywell's requirements. There are still a lot of unanswered questions.

@1uyq+1e7wDCvA that 60 Minutes story is creepily similar as seen in the light of COVID and that was way back in 1976!

@2rtf Yeah, it's also funny how people believe such ridiculous things as this. Beckernews? Seriously? Rated in the top 1% of unreliable and unproven "news" sources.

I am the person who posted the note below yesterday…just to clarify I am not on Honeywell’s insurance. I am on my spouses and I called twice and they said they would cover the cost for weekly testing. So, that is a good thing. However, like others who have posted I don’t know if they can force those cost to us as the employee. Seems discriminatory as a vaccinated person can also get and transmit COVID. When this first started I hired and attorney to represent me. I will be discussing all of this with him before I sign this document. Did you notice it is DOCU SIGN? you either sign it or not. Now were to comment or take exception to anything.

My ORIGINAL POST:
YES, I heard back on my religious exemption. It was approved with the following stipulations. 1.) If a vaccine was developed that was not done so on aborted fetal cell lines I would agree to take it in 14 days after approval. 2.) Have to continue social distancing and mask wearing when at the plant or any third party facilities (customer sites, supplier sites etc. 3.) Have to submit to WEEKLY Covid-19 tests (at my cost…but insurance will pick it up) and submit those results by Thursday each week. If you don’t then the following week you go on unpaid leave. If you go 3 weeks in a row with no test you are terminated or if you go 5 weeks in a year without a test you are terminated. Also, the test CANNOT be a home self test unless witnessed by a health professional.

@2cyw,
Yeah, it's funny how the states and countries with the highest mRNA vaxx rates are also the same ones with the highest infection and mortality rates!
All-cause mortality rate is key:

That would be false as we are now in a plandemic of the vaccinated as they are catching, spreading, creating variants, and even dying from Covid. The first 4 Omicron cases were documented to be among the double jabbed. On top of that, the costs of the adverse reactions to the jabs is just starting to be revealed.

In my opinion they wants everyone vaccinated to reduce cost associated with Covid and the self funded healthcare plan.

Hon is requesting that I submit to weekly testing on my own time and cost. However, this is no different than them having to pay for dr-g screening, etc. Legal experts are saying that if someone is granted a religious exemption, the employer should pay for the test and for the time spent. My site was providing onsite testing for the 3 weeks they did it, so why not now? There are likely a lot of legal issues to be sorted out by Jan. 4th and my legal counsel is looking into the matter. I won't sign on the dotted line until I get the green light from them.

@1rvn The court cases apply to the government over reach forcing companies to follow the mandate. There is nothing saying a company can't decide on it's own that their employees have to be vaccinated. The company may be very well using the mandate, for now, as cover.

@1rvn my exemption was also accepted without having to answer supplemental questions or vouching to not take certain medications. However, I don’t know if there is a way around these testing requirements. Are you still required to test weekly?

If you are in contact with a pro bono law firm ask them to send a letter to HON stating that all the federal Covid mandates are losing in the courts & forcing you to pay for testing as a company-required health accommodation is discriminatory. Your state may also have laws (or pending legislation) against this requirement.

My religious exemption was accepted without the additional questions or requirement to abstain from taking certain dr-gs like tylenol and pepto. I know of several fully vaxxed coworkers who have now decided to retire or find another job instead of being required to take the upcoming boosters as a requirement of employment.

Many states and pharmacies offer free Covid testing, but that could change in January due to funding issues. Many states are also passing laws mandating that companies requiring Covid testing as part of their employment will have to foot the bill, just as they do for other health & safety requirements. When everyone has to wear face coverings due to the spread of Covid, everyone should also be subject to the same testing requirements.

Maybe HON not paying for the test (thru Cigna) is a thinly veiled incentive.
Like Delta Airlines did with a $200 / month insurance premium surcharge for non vaxxed employees.

@1cib: I received the exemption and in brief terms my understanding is that I have to pay for each weekly test out of my pocket and CIGNA/Honeywell (Honeywell being the 3rd party) is not going to cover it.

@1rn I have Cigna through the Honeywell. I spoke to a Cigna rep who said as of right now, testing that is required by a 3rd party is not covered.

I told the representative I work for Honeywell. Not sure what I’m missing here? Are you saying they are wrong?

@1epf Just so you are aware, Honeywell is self insured.
They can tell their insurance administrator what to cover.
If you have insurance that is not thru the company, you're on your own.

Find someone that claims the test was developed with the same cells as the vaccine.
Maybe a radio talk show host or blogger.
Or just follow some random person on social media who claims to be a doctor.
Then you can ask for a test exemption.
Hope this helps.

And so those who scream about how big pharma is making a ki----g off the vaccines will be shoving even more of their own $$$ at them for tests 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just so everyone is aware.. Cigna insurance does not cover rapid Covid tests due to 3rd party requirements. You can get free Covid testing that takes a little longer to come back, but you run the risk of not getting the results in time. I talked with an insurance rep and they stated the only way these tests are covered are if you are immunocompromised, showing symptoms, or have been in contact with someone diagnosed with Covid.

Rapid tests are 65$

Yes, I was granted mine yesterday. However, there are others in my office that have not yet heard back.

Have to start weekly testing January 10th. Wonder how long we will have to deal with that.
