At least 10 RIFd today from AI engineering teams under Ratnakar
Based on normal RIF patterns I don't think today, Thursday, is the last day and it is being spread out whether that means tomorrow, Friday, or some other day in Aug.
I was let go today via 1x1 with only myself and manager on meeting invite and then shortly after hr rep joined call. I am full time work from home.
Today, 6-7 FTEs under Government Health Benefits Execution reporting line, do not know states/pulsepoints/locations.
Does anyone know if layoff meeting invites go out throughout the day? Or are they all sent in the morning?
An Invite for a quick meeting went out this AM for me and another teammate for later this morning. I wonder what it could be about? :-p. Another friend has one for this afternoon. We have been hybrid workers not too far from a pulse location.

Got notified at 3:45 today for a 4:00 meeting. Everyone on the meeting was told we are safe but 6 members from CarelonRx were RIFd with the last day of 09.06.24. Some were remote and some came in the office three days a week. The higher ups mentioned these were NOT performance based but due to business decisions. All I can say is I was shocked it happened today and I have a feeling at least one of the managers on that call will get RIFd tomorrow or Friday- just call it a feeling. Hope and prayers for all of us. I truly hope that if this window closes for you, that our Lord will open a door to something better for you and your family. We’re all in this together.

Org chart in teams is defunct. I tried finding staff this afternoon and mgt has no staff tied to them anymore.

ECOB team also told they are safe on a 9:30 AM call, but this is a major layoff across the enterprise that’ll be spread out over the next 3 days
Please include additional info if possible: ie state, if the person was fully virtual, lives more than 50 miles from pulse point, department etc
One person is our department was notified they will no longer have a position by EOY. They were notified this morning and the remainder of the team was informed an hour later.
