Allstate India shouldn't exist unless they sell insurance there.

As long as Allstate lumps in the India departments as extensions of the U.S. operations they can be licensed just as we in the U.S. can. They have been licensing India employees for licensed service, sales, and claims roles for 5+ years now and it has only increased in the last few years. I know many India employees with the same exact licensing that I have here in the states.

I gave my two week notice today, I was a CSL in auto tech. My RCL will let me know tomorrow if I will be staying for the notice I gave. Either way I don’t give a sh-t. My former RCL left a month ago. He told me personally that almost all of auto tech will be shifted to Allstate India 🇮🇳 aka AllPune. I would strongly advise to get off this sinking ship ASAP….

Exactly. This sewer of a company found a way to get out of paying severance by acting like they are doing you a favor by sending you to a horrible vendor who will get rid of you with nothing as soon as they are done using you to get their foreign $5 an hour hacks up to speed. These vendors do not pay severance out and are known very very high turnover and almost zero job security for their U.S. based employees. And the top dogs exploited that successfully over the past year in many areas cutting employees off their books moving them to employees of the vendor to be at the vendor's doing with what they will and not paying out any compensation and severance. Just treating employees as property. Vile and disgusting.

You are right that all the jobs are going overseas and its smart to look for a new one especially because allstate has found a loophole to avoid severence by sending to a vendor. However, sometimes people need to vent.
They can't even handle the process correctly as it is. This company is turning into a dumpster fire and all corporate cares about is can it be automated or outsourced.
