@3edt+1v4DauMi. Really, go look up the World Economic Forum, then tell me just how crazy it sounds. Most companies are members and pushing the WEF's manifesto.

This is probably part of a much larger plan to showcase private companies mismanagement in order for the people to be more receptive of no more private companies, just government run healthcare.
Now it will be very interesting to see what happens with the real estate utilized by the current MA business.
Did you read the NYT article about "The Middlemen: The Powerful Companies Driving Local Dr-gstores Out of Business"? I'm sure that bad press helped lower the stock price. They sure won't be pushing that info out to all employees in the daily kool-aid propaganda email.
David Cordani gets 50% off after a year, but look like Wall Street still thinks it is a bad decision since Cigna stock is down close to 10%.

It's a slap in the face to it's current Cigna Medicare Team. It just very distasteful how Cigna blatantly runs it's current Medicare business to the ground on purpose with the goal of selling it off... just to buy another Medicare business. Cigna has no self-respect, it only cares about $$ and puts on a pretend caring face to sell it's product. It's all just act, no genuine good ethics left in this company. Cigna principles are all about making stockholders more money.

Well we all knew this. Cigna will happily kick thousands of it's Medicare Employees to the wayside to buy up another Medicare company. I feel bad for Humana, they have no idea the level of poor decisions they are getting into. Cigna and especially David Cordani will use, abuse, and run Humana into the ground if it means it increases the stock price.
