I wish I had been as brave and determined as this terminated Honeywell employee when I worked for HON and was mandated to take the training he describes in the video. I felt exactly has he did but took the “training” anyway because I, too, was worried about being terminated. I hope he and the other defendant win a huge amount in the end. More people should file suit!
I have to wonder how diverse the employees are in Bangalore and Singapore. Are they hiring Africans and Caucasians and Hispanics in those places?
I took the training and laughed the whole time at the blatant anti whiteism throughout the whole course. I'm glad Honeywell is doing their part to end racism by hiring people primarily based on race and secondarily by who that person is se-----y attracted to.
Honeywell wont allow fact backed accusations of illegal racial bias in hiring be published. Might get a journalist interested in why HR filters resume by race. Hint hint

But, have a new job lined up.
At an all hands meeting at my site, someone asked "if we are so diverse, why are the only people on the stage gray haired white guys ?" It was fun to watch them squirm.
In less than a month the person who asked the question was gone.
Next time in an town hall or other meeting where they talk about how important or great diversity is, speak up and try to pin them down if they are referring to skin color and if so, why would a team with a variety of skin color outperform a team with a homogeneous skin color? If they deflect to talking about different backgrounds and experiences, push further and ask why having a different skin color means someone has a different background than you or why people with the same color have similar backgrounds and experiences.

I hope Honeywell pays him a hefty settlement.
