Is it true that accounting managers are also included on layoffs??? directors as well?

@2q5 And those of us laid off as of the 10th 😂 ok no problem. If I’m even still there by then . Trying to leave as soon as possible but the competition is really tough out there right now .
@28y Oct 6th is mandatory 4 days in the office for all corporate.
@25a GCC offshoring will be ramping up by Q3. Budgets getting cut further. eng pods being silently let go throughout Q2. get out while you can.
@25z So has anyone heard from Management. If or when we will be required to be in the office 5 days a week? I haven’t heard anything and I WFH 3 days a week in Accounting- PHX office. We were already told Accounting jobs are gone come October. We are offered severance if we stay until October.
@25a I am sure they are referring to those laid off 5/29 get a severance of they stay through October.
@21v Next round of layoffs? Is that speculation or do you have solid insights?
It's not supposed to start until October, conveniently after the next big round of layoffs and just in time to get more folks to leave voluntarily so they can report even more savings to investors mid-year. If you aren't fired and don't leave on your own in October, you're probably on the list for Get out now!
@OP yep overheard this, but not from my Director. It would be nice to be given advance notice on things. My money is on them telling us after the 4th, they love to drop news after a holiday.
@a2 well then I hope they enjoy people not logging on until 8am and logging off right at 5pm and not getting any of those "extra" hours people have been giving...
Learn what, that you haven't been doing anything WFH? I believe they may have figured that out.
