Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

sad to see

Real players are Aruba going forward, and he's the guy where they pull the string on his back and watch the show for a few minutes. You can tell he's just copying himself, wondering how to get a seat at the adults table for the big dinner.

Aruba cloud is a joke ! What are you guys drinking these days to hallucinate!! lol

Aruba has customers due to long relationship with customers. Aruba has 16-17% of wireless market. Their controller based APs were good but not the cloud. Aruba cloud is not stable and they did not hire the right architects and engineers. It has become an Indian sweat shop and run by leaders who don’t understand cloud.

Juniper MIST has only 3-4% of market. Their could is good. Juniper is the litttle brother who lost the battle with big brother Cisco and sold off to HPE.

Cisco will rule the wireless for many more years along with Cisco Meraki and controller based solution. Customers want a solution that works . Period !

Until then Aruba and MIST can play hunger games.

Do you wear Prada belts and expensive executive sneakers? Safe! Do you wear Mist t-shirts and New Balance sneakers? Not safe.

It's always sad to see subsidiary companies lose their staff after a merger. The parent company (in this case, HPE) doesn't care about the talent of the subsidiary; they only care about their IP and patents... That and they want to eliminate competition.

Selling your company to a multi-billion dollar company is like selling part of your passion and soul away... but hey, at least you have one heck of a severance package.

Lot's of incompetence in Juniper Enterprise. They can't tread water much longer. Too much inexperience to have the required ambition to be.a real true playa at HPE, regardless of segment.
