The standard is changed every year, because it is such a poor way of evaluating employees. This one may top all of them.

We need to hire a consultant to review the work of the consultant who told us to change our ranking system.
RIP to the days of working your a-s off and missing family events to earn that 3, so that some lazy VP and his favorite sycophant get 4s and 5s.

It was not always this way… but with AH a new culture was born, personal gains and egos are more important than the wellbeing of the organization. A d-mb approach because if the company does better it benefits everybody.

This is what happens when your head of hr is just a mouthpiece for the id--tic CEO.
Both are too fat and neither are capable.
The pose knows things…if oil prices continue at this level combined with accelerated production declines there will need to be a “just” method to reduce personnel. It’s posed as meritocracy but, it does have a ton of bias. The available fat to trim is just not there.
So expect some incredible things to happen in 2026
