Thread regarding CDW layoffs

My workload increased significantly since the last round of layoffs

I guess this their plan. Get rid of people, give their work to others, threaten they'll be fired if they refuse, profit.

@21n That was the best post of this entire CDW section. He will return to CRY about us again. Ha ha! Classic!

@1z5 Welcome back. Nice to see you have joined us again rather than work hard as you always say. Day after the holiday and your first move isn't work. Your first move is joining us to CRY about what we write.

The crybabies are out in force again! If you can’t make it at CDW you are mildly re--rded. If you want a mansion in Newport, go figure out how to get one. Nobody is stopping you.

@1sq Nah. She will just order more layoffs and have us all work harder and live on a shoestring budget (no raises, no promotions, accept pay cut of 30%) so she can still get her bonus. At this point I wouldn’t put anything past these “higher ups”.

That is less money to go to our resident of 30 TIDE WATCH in Newport Beach, California. Stop fighting these or her bonus will be reduced and she won't be happy. LOL

Take your customer list and pricing too. Always have a fresh version of that at home, just in case. Document all that they have done incorrectly while being employed. They don't want that in the public so make sure to have witness names and specifics. Be prepared because you may be next.

@1s4 I was not sure if I should get someone to help me improve my severance but now I will look into it.

@1ps Well done, mate. Any pressure to sign papers after you’re binned is utter bollocks. You don’t owe them a bloody thing. The only reason they shove documents in front of you is to trick you into signing your rights away. Get yourself a solicitor and get a better deal, don’t let a money-grubbing, rights-denying outfit push you around. For anyone else laid off even if you see this in the future, remember, you’re not alone in this. That’s what this board is for. Anonymous, free, and the one place they can’t silence us.

Got them to increase my amount offered on my severance. I am now able to walk .away and start a new. They gave more than I expected after they said they wouldnt and I would lose it . Thank you all on this site and to my attorney. I wish you all the best.

@v8 Cheers? Don’t forget to raise a glass to the layoffs too! They’re the only strategy management here actually executes well.

Revolution! We should all do our piece. I am not telling the customers the truth when they ask me about what they read on here. I chose to play as if I didn’t know but you are right. Nothing changes without a fight.

@pp Revolt!! OK. Let's see you do that. 100% sure that will never happen, especially with you leading the charge. So you will keep on venting on here and pretending you are doing something important. Cheers!

Layoffs make CDW ‘stronger’? Only in the fantasy world of directors who’ve never produced a damn thing. Revolt! Time to poison the chai!
