I saw the post from the company regarding customer contact. I have been in many homes were people are home sick. Most are not forthcoming regarding their health. I am not a doctor and cannot readily assess if a customer is infected with the virus. What will the company do with me and my crew if one of us is exposed? Will they cover our wages during a quarantine? I'm thinking that they will require us to burn all our entitlement time and then maybe do something. And where is the union? Haven't heard much from the CWA. Thoughts??

If they Cared as they say we should be doing only repairs and outages, to keep things working not new installs and upgrades at least in my opinion, those in the field should have a full inventory of protective gear, masks, sanitizer, gloves and a hazmat bag to dispose them in after use. Also unfettered entrance to buildings by contractors with us working in them that don't have the proper gear to protect them only increases the risk of infecting us all.
90% of the work are full installs...
At this point I would say entering anyone's home is a safety violation. Dont do it.
