This site has removed comments from several posters. What I'm noticing is the comments that include name-calling and are dripping in right-wing bias are left alone, while others on the other side of the coin are removed. I too would like to see what the rules are for this forum.

Dr. V had the balls to post a response On workplace to LJ’s D&I answers. See below. I think many are afraid to have an opinion that is different from management for fear of being fired. Impressive.

You miss-define Equity vs Equality. You use the cartoon which actually outlines the before and after effects of equity. A person gets a 1 in chevron, you take his/her 1 benefits away and give it to the 3 who didn't earn the same as a 1. That's what you just advocated for. Equality allows one to rise or fall on their own merit.

Equity levels the playing field by kneecapping high performers and pushing them to operate ad the lowest common denominator. Lets see you get someone who's consistently a 3 perform at a 1 without lowering the standards. You can always force a 1 to perform at a 3 to align your outcomes.

Your last question answered, runs counter to your message. You say white males have nothing to worry about, yet you have special interest groups teaching our workforce the myth of white privilege, teaching how race matters, teaching unscientific critical race theory and more.

If you think my view on what you're saying is wrong I'll be happy to sit with you and discuss. But I don't trust what you're saying. Not after you voiced your support for an openly racist movement founded in marxist "thought."“

GVs tactic was probably a bit off putting but LVs response is so typical from an elite and entitled executive. Contact my EA?! Wtf? Is LVs time too valuable to set up a 15 minute discussion? Um. Not sure that this was “legendary”... LJ is willing to have difficult conversations and to explain things from his and others viewpoint. GVs post just came across as a d—k who aggressively ranted in pseudo intellectual drivel using phrases like “cultural Marxism”... and then said I’m willing to discuss it with you but you’re wrong.

There are ways to intelligently disagree and be heard. This wasn’t one of them.

I know the guy who posted the Workplace comment. Hopefully he is EOI’ing because he doesn’t stand a chance in R4.

Someone should repost this in Chevron Workplace. Then it would be read by wider audience and would prompt a response.
