Conduct management sees and handles all of the customer complaints from accounts opened without consent to employee related concerns. They over see all cases that originate from Ethics Lines, Loud Speaker, ECMO, CBCS, ER, WIM… everything. They are the gatekeepers and unfortunately Charlie, Scott and Michael Clearly has decided to move this work to India. The people that work these cases have been with the company for decades and are all facing layoffs. The location Strategy was only allowed to be told verbally, even after many requests to have it put into writing. Chainsaw Charlie has something coming though, because every negative thing he and his New York cronies do always comes back full circle.

Yes, Conduct Management loss their jobs in Covina. Before this team was renamed CMO this was actually part of a badass three part Corporate Security team - Physical Security, External and Internal Investigations (II). After a series of leadership changes II was su-ked into the CMO structure, and has been a watered down and less effective version of itself ever since. Essentially becoming the policy police and handling work that historically belonged to HR and line of business management. The Investigators, Managers and Analysts who were part of the original Corporate Investigations team were “solid” and fair and the mission was not to go after people. The work came to them and there was a sensibility that people can make mistakes. However, when evidence of fraud and wrongdoing was unimpeachable the appropriate remedy was in play. So, for every team member who has been displaced and for those who may be next or just waiting on their severance, job loss is not a particularly good feeling so be kind.

I once worked with the Conduct Management folks. They look for trouble makers in the company and their mission is to neutralize those trouble makers at all cost. I left Conduct Management because these people were very toxic.
