I hope the managers come back with a little more compassion about the club and associates. The disrespect is at 90%. They are only there for a check

CPU would benefit immensely from having Audit brought back because they can’t find half the stuff because it’s lost in steel or not in the club at all because inventory counts are so messed up. And CPU has to get special permission from the higher powers to Nil pick. Which is totally ridiculous.
@1xpl+1ogowI7J, audit & HR will never come back. Overnight (freight flow) team has been in some clubs for over a year.
Audit will not return because it is easier for corporate to manipulate shrink to decrease your sam's share. HR won't because managers can tell an associate anything and they have to take their word. unless they know how to research the policies. Most associates don't know how to or have time.
Bringing overnights back would help so much. Putting a cpu associate or 2 on that shift to pull would be amazing for cpu. Bringing back audit team would help tons too. We just did inventory and on hands are already messed up. Bring HR back would be a huge! The biggest help would be getting rid of the bad managers. They probably wouldnt have to fire many of them to get the others acting right.
i don't care if these people are compassionate or not. i just want them to be realistic when it comes to the work load & expectations that they're putting on clubs.
without overnights being brought back in merchandising & freezer cooler, clubs are going to continue to struggle to be ready for everyday business.
.....and staff the areas properly. you can't have just 1 person closing in each fresh area, two people trying to work f/c & have it all ready by opening, 2 people in produce trying to get 15-20 pallets worked in two hours, 1 person for each side of the club zoning in the afternoon, 1 person closing in bakery & meat........what happens when they call out......
There couldn't possibly be a bigger non-issue for them. That's all you need to know.
Everyone including you is only there for a check. Every one. Would you come in there and do what you do for no pay? Would ya? Huh? Didnt think so. Doug McMillon is only there for the check. The issue is that those checks could be collected while at the same time being civil to one another. No one there has any call to treat others like dirt. But almost everyone with any authority at all does just that. Sams could be a fantastic place to work if not for the people that work there.
They won't its only going to get worse their compassion left years ago.
